Thanks so much for the awesome video! All those technical points are really helping me get my head around good technique and rowing well! Oh, and there's a playback speed setting on the bottom right of the KZfaq video window if you want to slow down playback :)

Great video and amazing way to analyze the technique. Will be perfect if you can to translate to three basic languages like Spanish and french to approach all the clubs and national teams...... great!!!!!!

Great video, could you explain a bit more about this compensation of stroke seat. Is it mostly due to his shoulders being less relaxed? Thanks so much! Keep the awesome videos running.

Hey Jillian, thank you for your positive comment. My personal experience is that the shoulders should neither be too relaxed nor too stiff. In this particular case, the shoulders are not the problem. The issue I am referring to is the fact that he almost "leans" with parts of his trunk weight on his handles just before the catch. The shoulders are simply a means of weight transfer, which means that they are not the cause of the problem.
