this game was eye opening. I didn't realize that all of CC's turnovers are incredible passes that are fumbled. Geez. Probably 50% of her turnovers should be in the assist category. The look on her face when they fumble her perfect passes tells it all

We all saw the espn bench clip with Sides saying to change the pace to a slowdown and drain the clock at the end of the third. Thanks CC for making that point. That stunted the momentum of the game and lost the lead. Bad subs are another issue. This should not have been a loss with those stats from the players. This one is on Sides.

For 4 minutes the Fever were ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! I don't what Sides told team in that time out after the 24 to 3 run, but NEVER utter those words again Sides! Reese played bully ball with Smith! Smith you know what you have to do, HIT the weights! SIdes you could helped Smith out by putting Boston in Reese or sending a hard double. What I see when Caitlin and Boston are in Sync is Breathtaking basketball, if it's working, MAKE them SHOW you they CAN STOP IT! Sides you never made them show you they could stop that High screen to Caitlin and Boston rolling! 💚💚

Once again Caitlin Clark shoots the ball 11 times. Kelsey Mitchell 18 times. Caitlin only 1 shot in the last 7 minutes. That was all Sides. She gave up the ball every trip down the court. Sides was in her ear the whole game. 13 Assist by CC after 3. No assist in the 4th quarter. No pick n roll. Caitlin stop throwing the ball to Kelsey Mitchell. You got three turnovers on easy catches. One of them she completely fanned on. 6+ blown layups by guards. This was a complete collapse. AR took advantage of it. She wanted and was the star. CC had a good view of the game. Any reason why Sides is still the head coach.

When they ask Kelsey about assists, she said "what's that." Maybe teach her how to spell it first. She averages 1.7 assists.per game in her career. Wow!!

I was hoping to see one of CCs buzzer beaters.

This team, and especially this COACH, needs to understand that the offense has to run through Caitlyn. She picked that team apart for three quarters by bringing the ball up the court and making the right decision each and every time. Her teammates need to understand that they are scoring becasue CC is getting them the ball in an position where they already have an advantage built-in (i.e. they're already wide open, they have the defender on their hip, they have a clear path to the basket, etc...). In the 4th quarter other people were bringing the ball up the court (and starting the offense on the opposite side of the court from CC), so she didn't even TOUCH the ball for possession after possession. Rarely, does anybody go set an off-the-ball screen for her to run around and get the ball where she can just shoot it. THIS COACH should have her running through two to three screens per possession to get her shot! Bottom line, the offense starts with CC and it should end with her making the right pass or getting her shot. Three quarters is not a game and THIS IS ON THE COACH for not drilling that message into each player on the team! Horrible loss to a critical game for the playoffs and the mental advantage against Chicago and their leader, who played a great game.

CC not touching the ball in crunch time shows sides is not focused on correct priorities. She is worried about other players' feelings....instead of her superstar. There is no need to waste years to figure out what's obvious. I would have one talk with sides...if no change in direction for team strategies she would be gone. New coach could get rid of dead wood immediately...this is not hard. Don't waste CCs time, don't waste fans time and money.

I saw quite a few phantom fouls called against the Fever. Some were ridiculous.

Fire the coach. Period. Clark should oh d never be in the corner. Wheeler and Wallace should get garbage minutes. Smith needs to mature.

Angel dominated, and I wont take that away from her. But bad decisions for the Fever is what allowed that to happen. Angel just took advantage, as she should have. They should not have lost with a 15 point lead.

Caitlin needs to learn how to do a pull up mid range.. Everytime she drives, its either a layup or pass. She has to add a pull up mid range to her game. Once she develops that, she'll be deadly. It cant just be all 3s for her.

Sides saying Clark inbounded the ball on the last play because of her passing ability, instead of using Clark as shooting option or even as decoy says all we need to know. :/

To be fair, a couple of those fouls called on Smith in the 4th looked pretty ticky-tack and similar to non-calls earlier in the game.

CC had multiple opportunities to take the shot but pulled it down and passed it off. She looked uncomfortable. The last thing Sides needs is for CC to start second guessing herself. Sides is going to ruin CC confidence so she can make herself look better.

Sides is full of crap. She is the one who has shut CC down. But now is selfish enough to blame CC for her incompetence!

Listen carefully to CC when she loses to the Sky. She made it clear that AR had a great game and took responsibility for the loss. Didn’t blame it on a “special whistle”. This is called integrity. This is modesty. And she is only 22. It’s the losses where these qualities show themselves.

Common knowledge, when you loose by 1 possession, it's all on coaching. Need more plays designed for Caitlin. Every team does post play. You have a generational shooter and not utilizing that talent that no other team has. Again on the coach. Coach needs to give Caitlin green light to shot. Caitlin appears to be coached to look first to pass to post, even though she is wide open. On Coach again.

Look at the coach she rather have Clark pass the ball than make the final shot and win the game, because Clark will make it

Kristy Wallace is the worst player on the team. Coach Sides favors her over Hull, KLS and Taylor. At least Hull and Taylor play defense and KLS can hit some 3's. It's absolutely idiotic to continue starting Wallace. Hull could have helped defend Reese today.

Fever are trash. Pick a coach who lets Clark be Clark instead of forcing her to be "Steve Nash", and trade everyone except Boston for literally anyone who can catch a ball and make a layup. Yep, that's the level.

I kept waiting for the damn Coach to call a time out when they were still up by 10, just to lock them in and calm them down. But NO. Sides sucks.

They win 4 games in a row doing crisp pick and rolls and then today in the 4th quarter the entire team forgets how to play basketball? The way this team goes from looking good to imploding in the matter of seconds is frustrating.

I’m not picking on the coach or anything, however any time you blow a 15 point lead, 98% of the time it’s coaching. She didn’t call a timeout until it was a 9-0 run! That’s not ideal! Come on coach, you have to do better. Slow things down and help your players. I’m not the smartest guy but I know you have to do what you can to slow down or stop momentum. Those girls played too good to lose. Sometimes you have to coach!!!

If they don't start running some plays to get CC more than 11 shots per game, they deserve to lose every game from here on out. Mitchell and Smith shoot every time they touch the ball if at all possible and never look to pass, even if someone is wide open. Mitchell is not the person to send for the fast breaks, she can't catch the ball. Temi would have had all of those passes, maybe try Wallace or Hull. They left Smith on Reese all game and her defense is not great, another coaching blunder. If they don't address these issues, they won't make the playoffs. You can't have the best scorer in history used as just a passer to set everyone else up for wide open looks and layups and never run plays for her to shoot. Unfortunately, some of her teammates are just fine with that arrangement.

Wheeler played in the 4th, Hull didn't play like she did in the 4 wins, Mitchell kept the ball and took shoots that fell short, she couldn't make a layup, Samuelson wasn't used effectively enough, Clark was not allowed to touch the ball in the 4th. Fever up by double digits and Sides did what Sides does best not coach and gave the game to Chicago. Go figure, when you hire a JV coach you get JV results.

Give Angel Reese credit. She dominated.
