Big body JDM cars are just begging to be slammed… the lower the better. But when your 4 door is also a daily, air ride is almost a must just to get over all the damn obstacles you’ll catch in the wild. But Vin being Vin, he wasn’t happy enough with where this thing sat originally - so his LS430 gets some front end finesse that makes it even lower than before.

7:20 You don’t need to measure for a hole like that, send a small drill bit up from the bottom, centered to where you want the hole to be, then use that hold for the hole saw pilot when you start drilling from up top.

Glad you liked the simplicity of the IS Bushings! Most independent shops want $500-$600 to press out the OEM ones, as you have to have a special Toyota tool to do it!

I bet you could find some quality rubber grommets to pop into those holes to seal off the engine bay again. If you silicone them in they should just stretch if the upper ball joint happens to touch them.

Will the magazine trick work if you need to pull the fenders out say a half inch or so? I'm wanting to put 19x9.5 +22 wheels on the front of our LS430 and 19x10.5 +22 on the rear so I'm gonna have about a half inch of stick out in the back, not sure about the front yet. Only thing trying to do this on our car is it has a stock spring suspension on it for now.
