I would love to see a group of people that actually watched both products at this point talk about it. FreeCell is right, we were all sitting there with all remotes in hand. WCW would have some pointless match between two luchadores, can you flip over the wall and watch whatever was happening. Those three months are the most entertaining wrestling I've ever seen. I wish we would have gotten a chance to see the entire Vision come alive.

Teddy Love's Clare He also paid to have Harley Race airlifted from Atlanta to St. Louis when Race grew very ill a couple of months ago. Russo is a crybaby and never takes accountability for his actions.

Vince had the right overall idea to put the legends on the shelf and let the people build a demand to have them back. He was just totally naive to think those guys would ever budge an inch and his communication was nowhere sophisticated enough to earn their trust. If he was able to specifically tell them how, when and where they would be resurrected, they may have gotten on board. But when you tell them “ah, we’ll figure it out later, somewhere down the line,” expect their retort to be “that doesn’t work for me, brother.”

So my theory on Vince Russo being sabotaged by WCW's horrible management and locker room was correct. My other theory on wrestling journalists being nothing more than wrestling propagandists for themselves,the WWE and the indie scene is also right. I really wish the entire business would just collapse again so we can start over right.

I sincerely wish someone hadn’t brought up bro to him and it became his gimmick. It’s called a verbal deterrent and I can only handle about 10 to 15 minutes before I have to shut it off.

It seems like Vince could have done a better job handling his exit from WWF he could have given them a chance to counter offer but he did what he thought was best.

Schedule was killing him. McMahon is a working machine. He also one those bosses that expects everyone to work as many hours as he does. But you take good with bad. Yeah long hours. But you working for wwf making great $

he came back in 2002 as a consultant but left for TNA. Never got fired. They wanted him..he decided to go.

Call me bias but Sting was one of the few who deserved to stay in top of the card. I love vince for wanting to build new stars but I'm sorry I just never bought Jeff Jarrett as a main eventer not saying he isn't talented but he just wasn't main event caliber talent.

People jumped ship left and right during the Monday Night Wars, and throughout the history of the industry for that matter, at the drop of a dime. It’s a weird ass business with outlaw rules. It was an all out war. Take your sanctimonious horse shit anywhere but professional wrestling because that’s the last place it belongs. There’s no angels there.

Russo is a windbag. He leaves WWF, and they don’t miss a beat. 2000 was a banner year for them, while WCW goes further down the toilet with Russo being part of their demise.
