Also, not to be rude but they say that because they feel like their penis or their vagina doesn't belong there. It makes them uncomfortable. It is science that they have that genitalia but its also science that what goes on in their brains is a completely different story. Growing up, any flaw you see on your body, you declare as ugly. And you don't want it there. And you can see the same flaw on someone else and totally not hate it. But you feel weighted by that ugliness per say. Though I'm not transgender and I don't know for sure, this seems like a simple way to explain it. That pimple or scar doesn't say who you are, the pimple was some grease previously on their forehead, and that scar was an accident. Once they take T or S (I think thats what its called) the genitalia will be a thing of their past. They know this at a young age, so they don't let it weigh them and hurt them while they still have it. Hence, your vagina or your penis does not control your brain, it affects it, but doesn't control it. (Sorry for grammatical mistakes and I hope you can find a little bit more understanding with it.)
