I share Vinyl Plank Installation Tips for Doorways, Halls, Walls and Closets in this video. There are several tips in this video that will make these areas much easier to install luxury vinyl plank flooring. Even a beginner can learn these quickly and get professional results.

@@marcin8418my home is 1450 Sq. I bought the material for about 4200$ not including trim or tools. (I have all tools needed) the installation fee was 2.50 a square foot.

Im very handy and When I was 18 I worked carpentry for 10yrs now I’m 36 now I’m in the auto industry and I just brought my first home with my wife🙏🏽 ( New Jersey native here) I’m starting to lay down engineered flooring and I have to say I stumbled upon your video and I was amazed you have the best flooring videos on KZfaq. I cannot recommend laminate university highly enough for anyone getting ready to tackle a diy plank install. joe takes the time to walk you through the tough parts and his input is worth every penny!!!!!!!!

Just finished my lvp install and thanks to your expert tips and tricks it went very well. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Thank you! I did want to add one thing when using the permanent marker to mark your cut lines, if you have to remove the marker from the plank do it as soon as possible. It isn't so easy to remove after the marker has been on the plank for a while.

I've done framing, remodeling Krogers and walmart's. But I was honestly nervous about this cause I'm about to start my mother in laws home. I know I have to the tools and skills but due to injury been out of the game for a small bit of time. Enough to worry me then I watch this and it all come back thank you! I am learning so much!

Wow, I learned a lot from your instructions here. I've installed a few floors now, and have struggled (aka looks like an amateur job) with door jams and similar transitions. Heck yeah brother! This recommendation was a week too late, I did my first flooring last week but I will definitely be adding the cheat block method to my repertoire! Great information! Joe, I just finished Laying 340 Sq ft of wood laminate in my master bedroom. I couldn't have done it without using some of the pointers you have given in your videos. I want to say thank you for your videos and keep it up. I have about 360 sq ft left to lay in 3 more rooms and it should be a breeze now.

Hey, so that's how you do it, I've been watching your videos for a long time now, and decided to give it a try i took on 565ft. Vinyl planks ran it from my family room though the bedroom and into a closet ace it with some small mistakes but I can learn from that, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING YOUR VIDEOS, not to mention I did it solo.

This one is in depth, love it. Just finished my floor, I can tell its not perfectly straight but no one else can haha. Wish I would have seen the line snap video first. I had no Hallways though. I look at every laminate floor now differently and I notice a lot are really crooked. Cheater bar and planing changed the game for me.

Prob a basic question which you've probably answered in another vlog - I'm looking at laying backed vinyl - is there movement in vinyl tiles/planks? Is it absolutely necessary to remove skirting board (your baseboard) to allow for this? I have a reasonably large area with many doorways and rooms so am dreading removing the skirting boards and reapplying. Love your vlogs. Very informative!!
