VIRGIN ATLANTIC UPPER CLASS NIGHT FLIGHT - Review of their 787 flight during covid

Hi everyone,
A short review video showing Virgin Atlantics Upper Class night flight during Covid-19.
The flight route is on the 787-9 dreamliner from Barbados to Manchester.
This flight was taken before travel restrictions were imposed in the UK.

If you've flown with Virgin in Upper Class you'll see many changes to what's offered onboard which I've tried to highlight in this video. Covid precautions are taken in every element of the flight and I felt very safe onboard.
Hopefully this helps anyone who is travelling with Virgin anytime soon and is feeling anxious about how different it'll be. If you have any questions please let me know below!

The Dreamliner hard product is pretty good, but the soft product looks dire. Thanks for uploading. 👍🏻

I’d be lying if I said the soft product was good John but given the restrictions/restraints they were under at the time with Covid it was passable, just! It’ll be interesting to see how things are now or in the coming weeks and months when things go “back to normal” Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it!

Not with VA unfortunately just with British Airways a few times. I’ve seen lots of changes coming into play on Virgins Instagram however such as the bar area being open!

I have 2 questions: What the Clubhouse open? How was drink refill service when you flew?

The Clubhouse was closed & drinks refills were frequent in upper class but I can’t comment how it was elsewhere. There is the wonderwall area in premium where you can get unlimited soft drinks. I hope this helps!

I’m unsure but I’d assume it would be when the US gets added to the UK’s green list as that’s the bulk of their travel/custom. Thanks for the sub also, I appreciate it!

I can't comment for alcohol, but the vibe in the clubhouse is really good for almost everyone, and the staff are very personable, attentive and thoughtful - no matter where you sit. I wasn't in a rush, but I had tea, breakfast, pastries, fresh fruit, snacks etc and never felt like someone had forgotten about me in the middle of my meal. Come to think of it I also really need to say this: The food... The food is the type of 'really good' (no matter what you pick) to where you genuinely question if its even possible that you've ever had a better version of it anywhere else on the planet. I think I miss the food the most in fact. Like... if they opened up a restaurant that serves the clubhouse menu, I'd be there weekly, at minimum -- or most mornings for breakfast at least. Anyway, Clubhouse is something you're going to want to try at least once. I'm so glad I did. If the upgrade isn't too pricey, I'm gonna do it again next time too

The goodie bags used to be so chic, now they just look like what they are made of, rubbish.

I believe it’s Virgins way of trying to become more sustainable, which I think is largely welcomed. I do agree to an extent, I miss the Herschel amenity bags, they felt a bit more luxurious!

I feel this lol. But I also understand why they changed them
