@@MikeR65 Possibly. I still espouse the ‘no pill’ lifestyle when possible. We Americans like convenience. Nutrition in a pill fits into that mindset. I think that with proper education and planning a person can get the vitamins and minerals necessary for daily life. Make no bones about it, the vitamin/supplement field is highly lucrative, oftentimes feeding into people’s fears that they are not getting enough nutrients. Then there are tiers in that field, with the more expensive pills claiming the cheaper ones don’t work. Big business claiming it’s not big business yet fitting all the criteria that still put it into that category.

I understand what your saying, eating whole foods is key, but we cannot get all of our nutrients from our food anymore, because our soil has been depleted. So it is important to supplement with high quality vitamins. Our bodies need 90 total essential nutrients. 16 vitamins, 60 minerals, 12 Amino acids, 3 fatty acids. That's alot 😮

I just can't bring myself to give this one a thumb up. I do believe in supplements when necessary, but to just suck them down without even trying to get them from natural (unaltered) sources, is a bit much. If you know, by medical testing, that you have a shortfall, then supplement. If you are just taking pills to avoid eating the food, that is a slippery slope. One of the first behaviors with disordered eating is controlling what, and how much, one eats. Avoiding food, to stay thin, to not have to eat properly because you can get your nutrients in pill form, and other behaviors, are hallmarks of disordered eating. When there is medical necessity, because your body is doing something it shouldn't, then supplements are necessary. But, if your body is functioning properly, you should ALWAYS get your nutrients from food.

I stumbled across this video at just the right time! I've been trying to decide if I was taking all I needed on my ketogenic diet. I'm taking, fish oil, magnesium glycinate, k-2, zinc, b-complex, d3, coq-10, seed probiotic, & vital protein collagen. In your opinion, do you think it's necessary to take all of that? I'd much rather just take the supplements you recommend. Also did you replace collagen with the colustrum or do you still take collagen?

I’m not dropping hundred on vitamins. I take Calm at night for magnesium, sometimes just the Copper from mushrooms, and potato for potassium or bananas. I eat fish for omega 3, but take a salmon oil one at night. I take Kirkland D3 in winter time 4000 IU, sometimes 2000z I take zinc and vitamin c. Plenty of greens for various goodness. I found vitamins stressing to figure out. I’m not sure they even do very much.

This video is brain Washing people, making them feel bad about their health. I feel this people selling these vitamins and proteins and health books. They're only supporting each other's products, and we are the victim. Watching this video literally made me feel i can't get out of bed. This Recipe for rich people. We the average people we will doing what we have been doing Going to the grocery stores and cooking and feeling healthy as ever. ❤

Your 100% correct. I’ve too have been enraged by these videos. Plus the vitamins they’re pushing are way over priced. The same vitamins can be bought for less than half the price by their competitors options. These people and many others online are racking in millions of dollars per year doing these videos that promote their vitamins and there friends supplements. They make it seem that the only healthy option is whatever they’re profiting off of. They could give 50% rather than this measly 15% discount and you would still be over paying

No one said you have to buy his products, hes also obviously trying to educate people on all the unhealthy things they put into everything, a third of america is overweight for a reason. You dont need to be rich to eat whole foods, in fact alot of whole foods i see cost the same if not less than alot of the low quality processed foods, people are just too lazy to prepare anything that involves more than throwing it in the microwave for a couple minutes

That is A LOT of supplements, a lot of pill caps in your body daily which I'd not recommend. For almost a year, I was obsessed with taking supplements, but then realised it was just a waste of money. Now I make sure I eat very nutrient-densed food and if im on keto, I just take some electrolytes or a bit of extra salt if needed.

It's because it's filled with magnesium sterate and silicone dioxide which are fillers, making the supplement not a whole food source. The company gets to add fillers which take away from the actual vitamins and equals more money for them.

Your supplements should only have the capsule listed in "other ingredients" otherwise it's not a whole food source
