I've never owned a vivo phone or any of its subsidiaries. I had a couple of Nubia phones in the past and I really enjoy their camera philosophy. I hope Nubia does better now with updates and google software. It was really bad in the past.

Remember to include a RAW shot comparison. It's useful because it allows us to see the noise performance and natural detail of the lens without any processing.

Only if they kept the headphone jack like they had on the Red magic 9 pro I would buy it in a heartbeat

I don't know much but when comparing anything it should always include price/ performance indicator.

I joined the channel thanks to your detailed comparison and am going to order the ZTE and save over £400 Vs the Vivo global edition. Would have been good if you did a final table removing the front cam as well just to see how the scores are affected.

I think your weighting system for your ratings is fine, this is just a unique phone where you pretty much are throwing out the selfie cam in favor of the clean notchless display if you are buying it.

Another great review... Looks like the Nubia captures better fine details than the Vivo.. letters on road signs etc, are easier readable than on the Vivo. But how does the video recording quality Z60Ultra compare to the Z50S Pro? 🙂 Have you tried updating your Zenfone 9 recently? The last update I installed did something to the camera system so now the main camera isn't able to focus on objects that are further away than 2-3 metres, and battery life did become so bad that I have to use the power saving modes 24/7 otherwise it'll run out of power within 6hrs. 🙈

On the Vivo the Zeiss lenses make a difference, the night photos of the Nubia are more natural, it must also be said that the price difference is not small. Thank you for this test.

I think the Nubia has more of a DSLR vibe and color science, which i like, i find myself using 35mm crop most of the time on my Mi 11 Ultra for pictures, i also think 35mm would be better for content creation videos, as i often shoot at 50mm

And again the new Nubia model is the best. No phone takes sharper photos than Nubia Z

Nubia is close enough and i would choose the 35mm as a main shooter over the 23mm any day. i wish other companies will adopt this someday. But Vivo does better processing with that V2 chip, so it has better picture clarity and colors overall (except for its ultra wide that sucks big time). Isnt there an option with Vivo for a macro shot with that 100mm 4.3x lens? i thought it worked always.

Requesting camera comparison between galaxy s24 ultra vs oppo find x7 ultra, yoy are the best in putting camera specs especially the apreture size that we the photographer care alot about it. I dont know why manifacturer dont put the 1 inch sensor for portait lences.. nobia is getting closer to put the main sensor with 35 mm. I like it

I don't own these phones so I judge by the results. I don't like Vivo artifacts and oversharpening and less details but one time the Nubia did it too. But I don't like the front camera of Nubia, it seems it's only for Zoom or Teams. At the end I like the Vivo main camera at night.

Photography wise Nubia Z60 ultra wins hands down.

I'm choosing between Vivo X100 Pro, OnePlus 12, Nubia Z60 Ultra, Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Oppo X6 Pro. A really good camera with a good telefoto is the main criteria. So thanks for this comparison, also a comparison with OnePlus 12 would be great. Nubia and OnePlus have Band 20 (essential in EU) and global firmware, also Oppo has Band 20 but no global firmware. So I'm trying to understand if Nubia and OnePlus are way worse than the 1 inch phones, or just a little bit :)
