I’m currently going thru a divorce, my heart is always open for reconciliation , I ask for the church to pray for me and my wife to reconcile

There's no such thing as a perfect marriage or relationship; they're all unique. What makes one person happy might not make another person happy. But I've learned that there's always a way to solve problems. Five years back, my wife and I were almost divorcing because we had problems in our marriage, but we managed to work things out. It was a hard time, but we got past it.

One thing I learnt - When listening - give 100 percent attention to her, and look deeply into her eyes - don't let yourself be distracted - nothing is more important than her.

I’d like to see husbands run to God first and LEAD their wives into prayer…rather than feeling obligated to pray because it looks bad if they don’t or to get the wife to stop nagging about praying together. I have always opened the door for my wife, even when we were dating❣️ It is amazing how many people stop and stare as she waits for me to come around and open the door. It was more common 45 years ago❣️ Same with the garbage and the toilet seat, come on men, we need to respect our for our wives❣️

Just a few more - * Maintain financial transparency with your wife. * Make provisions for her to freely go out with her friends. * If you have young kids, take up babysitting by yourself, so that she can participate in church and her ministry pursuits enough. * Help her find time to pursue her hobbies. * During a fight/argument, assure her that though there may be differences, you and she are still on the same team.

Buy her flower... pick flowers even. Here in South Africa, it is so costly to buy flowers. So, pick one or two out of the garden, she'll love you still ❤

Another brilliant video 👏🏻 One thing that my husband does which I really appreciate, is that he boasts about my qualities in front of friends and colleagues and always says how God blessed him with me as his wife. This public appreciation of him having me as his wife makes me feel so valued in front of everyone. Two things that I'd add to what was mentioned is: for husbands to spend time with other (Godly married men ). My husband has guy friends who are married but aren't fully walking with the Lord, that Still drink, get high. The second: to be open to Christian marriage counseling.

Me and my wife has been listening to all these marriage teachings and are marriage did a 180 for good. This was a God sent.

Encourage her spiritual journey…her alone time with God and time with God together should be added to this list. Asking her about her day and about her quiet time is another one.

Something I really appreciate and it’s a little humbling is for men, he listed 20 things you can do to love us in practical ways. For women, he gave us only 12. I feel he didn’t cheap out on how husbands can love their wives. It’s pretty sweet!

While all of these suggestions are great, I would add listening to your wife when she speaks. Actually be interested in what she has to say. Let her know that her thoughts & feelings matter to you. No amount of flowers or compliments can compare to the feeling of having your husband's undivided attention as you share your thoughts.

Im going to share an insider secret about women. Most of us don’t actually love flowers. Do we love receiving flowers? Yes! But when it’s the right moment. What? I know that’s confusing but let me explain. It’s not about the flowers it’s about the thought that led to you buying the flowers. Was she sick and you noticed she was in pain and it hurt you to see her like that? Did you notice all the things she does for you when she wasn’t sick? Buy her flowers or anything really and tell her that! Every time she looks at what you bought her it will remind her that you cared and acknowledged her pain and that made her feel VERY loved and seen. Did she have a hard day with the kids? Was she overly stressing about something? Again acknowledge the feeling and that you noticed and that it also made you feel something because you love her. When someone dies we don’t send flowers to the funeral because we think the family loves flowers we do it to show that we care and we acknowledge their pain. You can also do it for moments of happiness and that you were daydreaming about her and realizing how much she really does for you but don’t forget to tell her WHY. Make it a surprise and if you choose to buy flowers buy nice ones. It’s not about the money but it’s important to show that you were willing to work harder to buy her something nice because she is so special to you. You wouldn’t buy yourself a shirt with a stain on it you would want a new clean shirt. You give your best. If you only have $15 in your bank account but you spend $5 on her that would mean a lot to her because even though you had very little you still showed how much you cared. Personally I think flowers are overpriced these days. Find out what she really likes and go from there. I hope that makes sense.

I put the dishes away almost every morning. I put clothes away at night. I sweep. I hand wash the big pots. She’s a home maker. Her job is at home. My wife screams I don’t help her in the house. I build on to my house-very nice additions. I do what men do and do it well. She begrudges me for it.

Thank you for this! My husband respects you, I hope he watches it. He loves and serves the Lord and is faithful to me and I'm thankful for that. I love to serve him and our 6 children. But sometimes I get a bit sad and discouraged because he hardly ever seems to notice me or how hard I work. And I'm not talking Instagram, but there'll be hardly any pictures showing that I've been there, too, cause I take all the family photos. I don't like to pose anyway, just sometimes in pregnancy, but he doesn't understand it. Little things could make a big difference. I've been telling him for 13 years, if I cry just give me a hug, but he doesn't. And no, I don't neglect him physically. When I saw your gender reveal party I was quite sure you don't need it but you did it for your wife. God bless you!

I always had these positive thoughts on my wife and her looks but I kept them in my head and only gave her looks which didn’t transfer my thoughts to her so eventually she helped me realize like you may think these things but me as a woman, I enjoy hearing it come out of your mouth. This is a great video, as a single woman, some Godly qualities to expect in a future husband. I know a lot of people are requesting a video on how wives can love their husbands, but the Bible says for wives to respect their husbands (I think because it’s easier for us to love than to respect, and men really appreciate that respect…), so I would love a video on ways wives can respect their husbands. 😀

I m single and I always encourage my married brothers to take time with their wives and be wiser and encourage them to take care of one another and not leading them to sin or bad behaviors cause I want myself to be pure for the wife Christ has chosen for me. So i think more of don't hang out with men that are not in Christ more than people who are not married cause the bible told us than some will be married some will be not and dedicate their life to the Lord, so rejecting them from our friend circle if they are true born believers for me is not the best cause I can clearly learn from them, their mistakes to be a better man for my futur wife.

Not purchasing flowers all the duration, takes the flare out of it along with element of surprise. I'm also not opening the car door, I do open doors of places we visit, along with where we live. I'm not taking a lot of photos, I do compliment my wife frequently. I take the garbage out, not a issue at all. I enjoy holding my wife's hand in public. I love my wife immensely, she's a mega blessing to my life. I lay down my life for her and take someone's life to protect her.
