In this clip, Spice 1 and Vlad discussed the fallout between Tupac and the Hughes brothers while he was preparing for a role in Menace II Society. According to Spice 1, he thought Pac wasn't pleased with the depth of the character which was corroborated by some other VladTV exclusive interviews with MC Eiht, Mo Preem, and Tyrin Turner.
Later, Spice 1 talked about his opportunity to play "O-Dog" in the film but how that eventually fell through.

Even though Tate and Turner did a good job , one would have to wonder what menace would've been like If Pac and Spice would've been in the movie.

I always felt like O Dogg was loosely based on Spice 1.Down to the braids.

O-Dog isnt replaceable but it would be interesting to see Spice play that role.

Spice 1 as O Dog and MC Eiht as A-wax... menace to society would have been a real "murder show!"

Nobody could've played that role and did as iconic of a job as Larenz Tate.

Larenz Tate went from Menace II Society to Dead Presidents l,one of my favorite movies.the Hughes Brothers made the right decision

Yeah.. Pac would’ve been coming off a big ass debut in Juice and a solid debut album.. there’s no way he should’ve been given the role of Sharief. At least give him the role of the big dude (can’t remenber his character’s name)
