Training in Session 11 (Part 1 of 2)
In Session 11, it's a continuation of Session 10.
I recently join Las Vegas TAP 8 ball league and is trying to learn the game of 8 ball. These 2 part sessions touches on Lil Mike's stroke, how he plays the pattern of an 8 Ball rack and Jump shots.
This video shows Lil Mike's stroke and his patter/safety play for 8 Ball.
I hope these video lessons help you as much as it helped me. Also check out some of our other videos which I am certain will entertain or help you with your game.

I like the rear view of the shots, you can really get a better view of what Mike’s looking at. The pattern play demo is great!

@8:00 Like the way Mike breaks down the choosing solids or stripes, I wish I had known this earlier in my league play. Mike is giving you great advice, especially when not to try and run out.

Thanks. Loved the lesson. Tourney time in a few weeks and in our league we will be playing guys much better than us. Going to take this safety strategy and use it for an upset. :-)

Okay I've watched alllll the videos but a bit confused on the system still. Less than boomerang is 50 to the quarter mark...boomerang is quarter to edge or quarterto horizon? It's been explained both ways in the videos..which is it?

Boomerang is center of cue ball to edge of object ball.

That is called the horizon shot. Horizon is another word for edge.

I'm playing 8 ball now also but I cannot jump that sucks. I just think that if you want to go pro and you playing leagues were they do not jump how are you going to know how to jump because you're not able to in League. I mean even APA you couldn't use your jump stick I know you could jump the pros used to jump stick.
