When l started with my prescription Retin-A, l did apply it on my neck. My neck became red and sore and somewhat itchy, but l stuck with it now it doesn't bother my neck at all. I have to say that my neck doesn't look any difference now then it did in my early twenties, so I'm happy. I have always worn sunscreen and living in Ontario with lots of chilly weather,l have worn lots turtlenecks and scarfs wrapped around my neck, so maybe that has helped too 🙂🍁

The best jasmine tea I ever had was a white jasmine tea in a Mediterranean restaurant. I just sat there for a few minutes inhaling the aroma and enjoying the warmth. I've never been able to find anything comparable and the restaurant closed a few years ago. As for orchids, there's a saying, "You can not fail with Phalaenopsis." I don't know if that's true or not but it's something to consider if you want to tackle an orchid.

I use the hydroboost serum. I love it. This is what I do when I wash my face. I use the gel aveeno in the pink bottle or simple brand gel cleanser. Once I wash my face I put down the booster and add the simple brand night quenching gel moisturizer. So it’s mixed together on my face. The booster adds hydration for my skin with the moisturizer. I then top this with a cream moisturizer like the aveeno to keep everything locked in for the day. If I’m breaking out I use a salicylic acid moisturizer also in this step. It works for “me” and my skin is very sensitive

I love your story about selling Girl Scout cookies door to door. I remember doing that too. One day, I knocked on an elderly man's door, and when he answered he asked whether I was a boy or a girl! How rude! I thought, as I fought back tears. I was wearing my uniform and sash, but my hair was very short and I was unusually skinny. He said, "Whatever you do, don't knock on that lady's door," as he pointed across the street to a beautiful colonial house. I was so hurt that I marched directly over, rang the bell, and who should answer but Ann Landers! She was staying in her childhood home for a while in our town, Sioux City, Iowa. She was lovely. She bought 6 boxes of cookies, even though I'm sure she had already purchased cookies from the girls at the private school, who got their sign-up sheets first. Our paper published her sister's column (Dear Abby), but after she saved my day, I was a fan of Ann Landers! Nice memories.

I love that Eucerin Gentle Hydrating facial cleanser. You recommended it in another video. I usually have super dry skin and it doesn't cause any more drying than any other cleanser. In fact it might be less drying. Perhaps because I've always put lotion on after washing, while my skin is still damp, as I learned from you, so I may not notice the difference. The Eucerin definitely doesn't cause any burning around the eyes. I use it particularly around my eyes and eyelashes because I have Blepharitis. It has really helped prevent my eyes from watering constantly as a result of that.

Dr D!!! You've read my mind. I just bought the Eucerin face wash a few weeks ago from iherb cos it checked a lot of boxes. I have oily sensitive acne prone skin and have been looking out for a good one that ships to my country. Most cleansers break me out. I used the shishedo senka whip cleanser but I ran out of it and can't replace it just yet. But the Eucerin one works like a charm for me. Doesn't strip my skin, is not drying and has not broken me out yet ( it's been close to 2 weeks of constant use, it takes only about 2 to 3 washes for me to break out usually so that's a good sign) I'm so glad you approve of it!

Thank you! I was having doubts about putting retinol on my neck too, so it's great to get more confirmation from you that it's ok. I've been doing so consistently. I use a regular over the counter retinol on my face and neck every other night, and although I have sensitive skin I have tolerated this routine well. i do apply it over moisturizer tho. Excited to see the longterm results for my tech neck. Next i wonder if putting retinol on the hands is a thing? 🤔

Thank you for this topic. I did use Curology on my neck every night b/c I had no bad reaction and I did this for 8 months. Suddenly my neck began to react this month & it’s worse when I put on my Cerave Night Renewal Cream.

I love the replenishing rich moisturizer! I use it every night it’s great for my sensitive skin! It feels so nice. Idk why the cerave moisturizing cream just really irritated my skin sadly :( I did try the foaming cleanser and it’s pretty good and I agree, it is on the drying side. also your outfit is so cute dr dray! ☺️

Love the corderoy dress and accumulating colours. I have a black corderoy dress just the same, but mine I bought from Marks and Spencer, which is a British store with an Australian distributor. This lil corderoy dress is timeless ageless.

Omg you looked adorable in that outfit, I loved it!!! Thank you for sharing so much of your knowledge! I am trying my first Retinal the Avene retrinal 0.1 intensive cream, 1 fl oz. I am excited as I have never tried it before. I will definitely be washing my face, putting my mouisturizer on damp skin, waiting about 20 or before bed and then put that on. I am so excited to try it. I was scared for so long lol, but your videos helped me take the jump. Thank you sooo much!!!
