Vlogging the entire week to make myself to WRITE: Part 1 • Can I revise all of Act 3? • Writing vlog

I gotta be honest, the first two weeks of June were not the productive writing weeks I was hoping for. Why not? Well, one week had some ~life~ stuff happening and I had to direct my focus elsewhere. We're excusing that. But what about the other week and a half? Oh, that was just me being lazy AF. And I was tired of it.
So I picked up my camera on Monday, June 17th and started vlogging as a way to force myself to make writing progress. Can't create content if I'm not writing...right?
My goal is to finish revisions on Act III by the end of the week (Sunday, June 23). This vlog covers Monday through Friday and you'll have to come back on Friday the 28th to see if I managed to finish the work over the weekend!

Not me maxing out a chapter length at 11K words. 👀 Though that's more an issue of not ending and starting a new chapter 😄than the material supporting it.

Love the long video! My last book’s chapters are all in between 2.5-4k, and I totally relate with procrastinating this week! Definitely get some irrigation installed, it will be a life saver for plants here in texas (gardener here 👩‍🌾) but if they are charging you crazy amount to add a zone, you can install one from a hose connector with a timer.

The bunnies are so cute. I love their pen. Sorry to hear about the probs with Jade. In one video you mentioned she was special needs but didn’t know what her issues are.

Yeah, she just has all the issues. A lot of them could be lived with if they can’t be fixed, but the aggression is super concerning (obviously). Wish us luck!!

Love the video! I think there is just something in the air, because procrastination has been plaguing my house BAD for the past couple weeks. I have been scheduling live writing sprints to literally force myself to open my scrivener file and write lol.

Haha, my longest chapter is 8,347 words! I guess I could arbitrarily break it up, but the chapter following would be a continuation of the same event anyway. I've seen that in books, though, so maybe that's a possible revision to throw in there, just to give the reader a psychological "rest." Having a poopie day, not much motivation to edit anything. I realized that maybe some of the events in Part 3 and Part 4 could work better if MIXED, or interspersed. I might devise a "working" doc that merges the two and see what it looks like. Otherwise, it's all one kind of event in Part 3, and then all of another kind of event in Part 4. Blaaah! Plus Dad could not recall what Parts 1 and 2 were about (he only finished them last week), and felt at sea beginning to read over Part 3. I think I need to find someone else to give me feedback (no, not you, you are too busy!).

WOW that's a doozy of a chapter, haha! I think the longest one I've ever done across any project was around 6k? Dad is really the best beta reader out there, huh? 😂

He hands it back to me with spelling stuff & sections outlined in red as "wordy." Not exactly what I was hoping for. 🙄
