Artificial Intelligence is a hot topic of conversation. Use this vocabulary for English conversation on AI so you can fully participate in discussions and feel great doing so.
If, like me, you've noticed everyone talking about Artificial Intelligence - it's pros and cons, the hopes and fears - but felt unsure about what to say, I'm going to help.
This lesson is focused on the vocabulary you need to participate in English conversations on AI.
And if this is a new topic for you, that's great! You'll be ready to share your thoughts when someone asks your opinion of AI (hint: I might be asking you that in this lesson).
I'll be honest, I didn't think AI played a big role in my life. But some of my loved ones and some of my friends were talking about it nonstop.
I wanted to be part of those conversations. As I continued to learn and understand the key vocabulary and concepts, I realized how much I use Artificial Intelligence every day.

Well, first of all, I liked the topic proposed. On the other hand, for the human being, AI has meant growing for the next step in its development, trying to copy the gestures, behaviours, and choices has been the most value of this intelligence. Hello Annie, thank you for bringing this trending topic. AI is already here, not sure if listeners already know that AI will be first time will be used in 2024 Paris Olympics. Paris will be last time where whole world will watch people powered performance events during this summer from 26th July to 11th August. In 2028 Olympic Games in LAX in USA. AI will be main show case and it will be measure this event in real time data. The downside of Ai, a lot people already fear regarding their data privacy, Ai will create lot of financial scams targeting large corporate giants, government agencies, private companies, social media platforms etc. AI can’t answer questions regarding human life, emotions, empathy, it’s all about number game. Is everyone ready to accept and move on with AI and when is right time to do this?

The proliferation of AI in academic circles not to mention in undergraduate and postgraduate students pursuing recognition through gaining fanciful degrees is disastrous. Students use AI machines to generate the best essays and research proposals, and Ph.D. students will seek AI assistance to write the best possible script with hundreds of referenced quotations. We end with the best dessertations but with ignorant graduates. I hope this disadvantage may be put under control by AI itself

I totally agree with you! The same goes with English students who are trying to improve their CONVERSATION skills; they show clearly addiction to “Google translation” and simply get frustratedly STUCK!😢
