Vocabulary and Verbs are a critical parts of learning English. If you’re working on your spoken English and you love to cook, this video is just for you! I’m going to teach you English vocabulary and verbs that come up all the time in the kitchen. If you’re working on your English verbs this is a great way to learn. And learning vocabulary this way-with a full context around it-is absolutely the best way to do it. We’ll see video clips from American kitchens and place each of these verbs and vocabulary words in their functional context. This English lesson takes each word-both verbs and vocab-and makes sure you know how to pronounce it like a native speaker and use it in conversation.
Huge thanks to Hilah at Hilah Cooking and Stephen at Not Another Cooking Show for their willingness to let me use clips from their exceptional cooking videos. I follow both of these creators and encourage to you visit their channels, watch their videos and subscribe!

This is exactly how a great teacher should teach. 1. Clear lay out of themes and categorization. 2. Giving lots of examples and repeating important points. 3. Using of the voice : unhurried speech with clear enunciation. Not a monotone to put us into sleep. 4.Passion and upbeat attitude. Just compare how Rachel conducts speech to that female cook's lazy laid back style. 5. Video editing skills and not chaotic screen usage. You are a top notch 👍

Howdy people , I find placement the most ambiguous subject I ‘v ever encountered in English language realm. It is next level I must say I had never heard of it before Rachel introducing it to us And , I m convinced Mastering it changes the English language paradigm for us. Rachle is doing very good job at breaking it up for us. That said , I ,for one ,think the most effective way to master it is to do a lot of listening. Take it from me , It will eventually come to u if u commit urself to a lot of listening on daily basis.

Would love to see to see you do a feature on two word and three word verbal/prepositional phrases like look into or have at it. These always fascinated me and they always confound my students learning English as they are totally untranslatable, classic idioms. Go for it and look in on my child but don't go off on it because the law might come down on me causing me to give it up and take off and turn over the evidence! 😛

You always do a thorough job, no sloppy work, hats off to your work ethic. This is a pretty complex subject but you found a lucid way to cram it all into one great video. It goes to show the amount of smart work done behind this video. It's worth the pain though for all the countless hours you put into it.
