I’ve met and had a conversation with Cristina years ago.. I’ve never met an artist/band more appreciative of their fans. One girl that walked up when we were talking said that her sis was LC’s biggest fan... Cristina got excited and said, “call her!!” And Cristina proceeds to talk to the sister for 15-20 minutes wanting to know everything about her.. school, fav bands, fav shows, etc... Cristina never made it about herself.. it’s was something akin to “reverse fan-girling”

I met LC after a gig in a dive bar behind the venue. I spent an hour just chatting with them and having drinks. I had no idea who they were at the time but my sister was fangirling hard. My sis was telling her about training to be a nurse. Marco was super chill about chatting about the rig he uses. Just a great bunch of people.

I agree, all band members are like that. Most times we end up fighting (in Italian of course) because I'm a Juventus fan and they are Milan supporters, LOL!

I feel like that's a more common thing with metal and rock bands than pop singers or rappers. Idk out of most the interactions I've had, the more pleasant ones were always with rock and metal bands.

I’m a huge metalhead and one of my favourite bands is Lacuna Coil and Christina just blows my mind. I’m so keen to see them again next month. She is so captivating.

I first saw Lacuna Coil in 2006, and twice since then, they are so amazing, girl crush on Cristina, she’s fabulous! She’s sings a duet with Tarja Turunen that’s awesome as well.

Lacuna Coil are my favorite band have seen them 15 times through the years and they are like a fine wine they get better with age. Sadly couldn't get tho the tour this last time around but will be seeing them at the Download festival in June. Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on Skindred. They are a Welsh Reggae Metal band. Be good if you could check them out.

Been listening to Lacuna Coil since I was 18, so half my life. Cristina is absolutely a phenom. My favorite band to see live. You want to see her do something amazing? “Swamped” at the “1:19” show. “Swamped” is a magnum opus showcase of her power and ethereal sound.

Andrea Ferro doesn't get enough love for his performances. Cristina Scabbia is absolutely amazing, but the dynamic between them is what makes Lacuna Coil above and beyond. Saw them a few years ago and when she was singing, he was engaging the crowd and vice versa. The new album is probably one of their most compelling to date. I think you should check it out.

Hmm that sounds wrong also compared to how the main guy said how to pronounce it. But even that could be wrong as the name comes from a dead language.

I never listen to Lacuna Coil. But I remember back when Guitar Hero was a thing and that riff after the first verse kicked in... Been a special song to me ever since. *BaDamBam Bam BaDamBam Bam* , so simple but hits hard.

Spot on about mixed. I'm self taught in singing, and finally unlocked my mixed voice last year. Its a lot easier to have a balanced mix when you're completely at rest. Relaxing your throat as well as your jaw are super hard to do, but to have a good mix you have to work around that and get it done.

It is very interesting to watch your videos, you received the enthusiasm from the live videos you are reacting to without loss your purpose channel. I can imaging you in a rock/metal concert amost as one of us enjoying the music and singing/screaming the songs. Lacuna Coil is very interesting in concert, I was in the last concert of them in Chile in february of 2020 and Cristina is great singer, Andrea Ferro never was a "supertalented vocalist", but they construct himself as singer on the road, He's singing absolutely better today, and now usses growls.

Lacuna Coil ages like a fine wine. I've been a huge fan for well over ten years and have seen them live more times than I can count. Cristina's voice has gotten infinitely better over the years and not that she ever needed improvement. She's hitting high notes in Black Anima and Delirium that I've never heard her hit before. Andrea is proving to be a dynamo vocalist as well and not just the guy that backs up Cristina. I'm a music journalist, I've interviewed Andrea over the phone and saw him after the show in Toronto getting shwarma. Incredibly nice guy! My only complaint about their shows is when they co-headline, their set becomes far too short! All together the band has gotten darker and heavier. Just.....holy fuck they're good!

@@aprild9577 Unfortunately that's not gonna happen due to the Pandemic. It was supposed to be in early July, this year, but the whole Festival has been postponed to next year... Hopefully the line-up won't change 🤞

I’ve met the band, when they played in West Hollywood. They were very cool, and I got my picture taken with the band. I had a small conversation with Cristina about her singing, and it comes pretty natural for her. You can tell in this video, that she can handle a difficult song with ease. She told me the higher notes are actually more easier for her.

Fabulous band! Andrea is a good polar to Christina. She is the queen. I agree about Christina's warmth. In an interview, she said singing higher is easier for her and she prefers it.
