Well first of all it's Pidge but I guess that was just a typo. I don't think that Pidge has to be non-binary just because Bex mentioned that scene. I think Pidge is whoever she wants to be (they always say she so I am gonna use that as well). Just because she does not want to use one of the bathrooms does not make her non-binary. It makes her someone who is I guess unsure about herself and who feels uncomfortable. I don't really like using the women's restroom either because I don't feel comfortable doing it and using the men's restroom would feel totally wrong. But that doesn't make me non-binary and I am in fact not non-binary. The whole Pidge is a boy or non-binary thing only happend because she disguised herself as a guy to find her family. Maybe she does not feel a strong connection to her gender and she might be kind of a tomboy or something like that but I think it's not a good idea to jump to conclusions about her just because of one scene. Maybe she is non-binary maybe she is not. As far as we know right now she is just Pidge. An awesome person who loves her family, technology and her friends. She likes learning and creating new things out of the stuff she has to build things with. Who really cares what her gender is? I guess you can find representation for non-binary people in her but you don't have to.

Yeah! Plus, the bathroom doors have different symbols on them and the paladins don't know if the aliens have the same "pink is for girls and blue is for boys" social rule that humans do so being worried about going into the wrong bathroom is another possibility for why she was confused, just like in that one Spongebob episode. I mean, I'd want to be careful too if I were in a shopping wall meant for aliens. That's just my take on the whole bathroom scene. Plus I'm pretty sure that in an interview Bex said that the scene can be interpreted in whatever fans want so Pidge doesn't HAVE to be non-binary. The ambiguity is the beauty of it :^)
