Crazy, I have this scope and just ordered the remington 700 mountain rifle as they are no longer being made and few left for sale. I live 20 minutes away from the remington factory. Its a shame seeing them go down like this. Love my remingtons and vortex products

What stock accessory is that? Love the set up. Looking at a Kelbly .270win and it will be pretty close to this.

I love Vortex glass, (I have a pair of their binos which are great)... but... I've heard a few comments suggesting that scope turret reliability is a bit suspect, (if subject to heavy/repeat usage). Probably not an issue for a deer hunter who may only ever elevate a click or two. It was enough to dissuade me from purchasing one, which is a shame. I know they have a top notch warranty, but I would rather not be reliant on it. As I say, not heard anything similar with regard to their binos.

I've box checked this scope a fair few times and it's always returned back to my original zero.. massively impressed or it wouldn't be staying lol ;-)

@@Baileysshooting yep... fair call. Like I say... love the binos... glass punches well above its price point in my opinion. May have to give the scopes another look at some point.👍

Hello mate do you keep the gpo optics scopes in, like to take a look at them to go on a deer stalking rifle, either the 3-12 or 3.5-18 mag range

Was the illumination turned on when you showed the view through the scope, you said it wasn’t bright, can it be seen in daylight?

It can only just be seen in daylight.. to be fair the whole point is its only needed in low light and for that it's superb

@@Baileysshooting thanks for that, I’m very tempted by one of these on eBay at the moment, I’ve had scopes in the past with small centre dots that get lost against dark targets making it hard to aim, just wanted to know if the illumination was good enough to stand out in the day against a dark background. Yeah it would defo be bright enough for that bud
