Real shame the Onion stopped making videos like this around 2016. I for one would like to see them do an unbiased retrospective on DRE 700's presidency. It's kinda sad how everyone seems to talk about the time he held our electricity supply to ransom as if it was his only act in office, or the sex scandal he had with that printer. But DRE did have a lot of good ideas about welfare spending and the economy, some of which weren't fully implemented until the Trump administration. I know it's kinda an unpopular opinion to have around these human-biased comment threads, but I'd vote for him in a heartbeat if he were running again (to be clear, I'd have no choice - my district uses electronic voting machines).

It was a difficult decision but as republican congressman Todd James said before his unfortunate accident "I do not remember voting on this, but since log says that we did we must abide by it"
