you do that every day because the date is saved for as long as humanities concept of time and space exists i could say that 1950 may 5th was a historical moment because it happened in the past. in fact i could say last friday was a historical moment and it would be correct because its in the past, in history. marked down as that specific date.

its 2024. i still remember 2020 like it was yesterday. wanting to go out, wondering if covid would ever go away, online learning, zoom calls, playing roblox 24/7, face masks, making "BLM" posters, learning tiktok dances, all of that. i even remember learning about Corona virus in 2019, everyone had said it would probably stay in China. time flies so fast, the world has changed so much, but covid has brung an impact on all of us.

Chills. That's what I felt watching this video. 2020 skewed our perception of time in a very powerful way. The beginning of it seems like it was just yesterday and at the same time a lifetime ago. And going through school in 2020 felt eery, otherworldly, intense, procedural. There is no way to fully describe it. 2020 the year that will never be forgotten.
@ClairDeLume
@ClairDeLume Жыл бұрын
so it’s 2023 now, i guess. it’s technically been 3 years now since the beginning of 2020. and i’m not gonna lie, i’m scared. i’m scared because time is moving faster than ever before. 2022 was truly the quickest year i ever experienced. while as 2020 was the longest. and quite frankly, i do miss it. although we were trapped in our houses for a year. some of my best memories are in 2020. you see, before 2020, my life was constantly stressful and always changing. but once the pandemic hit, it really gave me a chance to just sit and calm down. and just notice the things around me. so although 2020 was terrifying in some aspects, it definitely had its good moments. i genuinely enjoyed that year, and knowing i’ll never be able to go back to it is scary. time is really powerful, as they say.
