I'm a 2 channel guy and I have the 1723 Monitors(the big boys) in my primary system with a pair of subwoofers. I couldn't be any happier with the performance! I've had quite a few speakers in the 1k to 5k price range, and the Arendal's offer an astonishing value for the price! The build quality is multiple levels above anything at the same price, and the dynamics were so impressive. I really love these speakers! James' written review was great and was the reason I'd finally pulled the trigger.

Absolutely love my 1723 Monitors in every way. Incredible sound. Even the back of the speaker is great looking. This is the most customer friendly company I've ever dealt with. Every question is answered. I can vouch for everything he is saying. When I purchased these, they were not coming from within the USA. They were willing to cut the return cost to Norway in half if I wanted to return them, of course they knew I wasn't, there just that good.

Owner of the 1723 monitors,center and 2 sets of their 1723 surround speakers. Love my Adrendal. Very well on the packaging. Made it all the way from Norway in great shape. Bought my speakers before the Chicago warehouse opened. In ceiling are next. Thanks David Oceanside, Ca.

Based off your review and a few others, I decided to get a pair of the Arendal 1723 S Towers. They just got here today. As you know, these things were packaged amazingly well. The US military probably doesn't use this much care when transporting a nuke. I realize there's a 50 hour break in period, but these sound amazing right out of the box. Can't wait to see what they do later. The 1723 center channel arrives in a few days. Running them with a Marantz Cinema 50. There's a process to switch the amplifier impedance to 4 Ohm in the Marantz user manual, which I recommend everyone remember to do if you get these speakers. Thanks again guys.

Thanks for the info. I have a new SR6015 Marantz. At 110W/ Channel, two channel driven, I'm assuming the 6015 can push these ok. Great tip on the 4ohm switchover.

@@royalway12 well... from what I'm seeing and reading, experts say not to switch to 4 ohm, but leave it at 8 ohm so it doesn't reduce power going to the speakers. It's confusing out here

The 1723 2S, I ordered, arrived at my house yesterday. He wasn't overstating packaging...very well packaged! I knew how much it weighed, by the specs I read before ordering, but reality hit when it got here. It's damn heavy and very solidly built. I'm glad that I had some furniture sliders, as those made it much easier to move across my floor. Out of the box, with a few tweaks, this single sub already blows away the pair of REL T/7i subs I had. I'm sure it will be even better when I have more time to integrate with my system.

I have had the 1723 S towers for a month. Absolutely amazing for the price. Put some power behind them and they are spectacular. Shipping was very impressive. No damage. Highly recommend. Customer service is good too.

i bought some speakers from Arendal, gave them a call and had also seen a few reviews and all the forum talks was great. was some of the most safe buys i have done :) i have the lowest line, 1961 series. It sure felt solid.

Inceiling atmos speaker would be great! I am waiting for it. I don’t want tot mix a different brand with my 1723s speakers. Arendal, I’m a big fan!

My 1723 2S subwoofers arrived yesterday. I spent an afternoon integrating them into my 2ch system. After a few hours i got them sounding incredible!! It was so easy and the app is a godsend. Amazing product, highly worth the cost..... I replaced my RELs btw 😉

Big fan of 3-way centers/towers…always interesting why some manufacturers choose 3-way vs 2-way vs 2.5-way. Would love insight into this. There is just something about 3-ways for music…with dedicated mids…only exceptions are electrostatics which don’t need this

Unfortunately shipping is NOT free here in Asia. The shipping cost is about $750 for the towers. Plus duties and taxes will add about 25% more of the total cost.

I have the 1723 monitors and of course I buy hoping for the best and let me tell you it surpass mi expectations this speakers sound wonderful powerful dynamic but at the same time precise awesome Soundstage and image. I buy the stands after I save some more money and they look awesome . Mine are white semi gloss. A and all the thing they say about the packaging is all true.

Arendal speakers are fantastic. But do not overlook their subwoofers. Built with incredible workmanship and packed with modern features. I own 2 and might get more in the future.

The reviews i've watched on these speakers seem to focus more on the superb build quality and packaging at the expense of the sound . not many 'rave ' reviews on the sound quality .

Now that year end sales are over, people can safely come out and say that there is a lot of competition at the same price point. And there are also better speakers, too, at this price point.

Orendal or Arendal lol ...must be the Rolls Royce of all speakers considering they do no slaes promotions and you cant even listen to them at a dealer before purchase ? The brand is unknow and building a reputation compared to say company like Heybrook which already have a proven repution. Along with super high shipping cost, lack of sale promotion and website that says they Proud to Offer customers a 15% price increase ! ? Interesting business strategy.
