Might have been interesting to have put the new pressure regulator on your air pump to measure how it’s performance compared to the older pressure regulator. Would have given another data point.

Thank you for your comment sir very true sir sorry I didn't do that I was getting frustrated with everything the 1600 was a lot easier to check the pressure and I didn't think about it at the time thank you for your comment sir 👍

Good evening sir. How come you don’t have the 2nd (white wire) and the part that goes with it on the back? I am having problem with my fuel pump where at this time it doesn’t work with normal wire connection. If I connect power directly into the negative (black wire) located on top of the pump assembly, pump works great. Not sure what’s going on since I do have power coming in at the connection plug but not where the two wires are connected inside the pump where two points are. Appreciate your help.

Sounds like to me you have a break in your wiring check out all of the plugs on the wires thank you for your comment sir 👍

I just changed the fuel pump on mine. Maybe lasted a week or two and never even got to put any real milage on it. Now guess what I have to change out again. That trash Quantum pump. Not sure where to find a quality pump from.mine is doing the exact same thing you said at the end.

Thank you for your comment sir it might be your second filter that's causing your problem just like it was mine when try to clean it up in my other video I could not get all of the stuff out of it but the bike is running great and today I found out that you cannot get a second filter for the pump with out buying a new complete fuel pump assembly.... but I have a video of me cleaning the second filter and it came last Friday and you need to see the crap that came out of the gas tank and that was my problem the hole time bad gas will water.... thank you sir for your comment 👍

It's me again. Sir, you didn't notice an interesting thing about quantum pumps. If you take the original pump and blow into it, then the air does not pass through. If you take and blow into the quantum, then the pump is blown. It's like there's no pressure shut-off valve. This is an observation.

Have you ever had any problems with the Quantum Fuel Systems fuel pump while riding , I can hear it whinning like its still priming on a slow roll like coming up to a stop sign never had any problems i don't reckon other than the sound

Yes I have it would not get over 60 mph but in a later video I have fixed the problem and now the bike is running great again and it was not the fuel pump and I have put over 300+ miles on her I can't remember the video I think It's the 4 video after this one you will be surprised to see what it was and no more noise now thank you for your comment sir 👍

I have it - rattle. It works quietly, but sometimes it creaks like a rusty door

Good video L P.! That's an interesting question you brought up about "once the bike gets hot is that fuel pressure even lower?" ~humm🤔 I don't know really. My uneducated guess would be that liquids get thinner when they get hot. So, that would mean less pressure? But I don't know about gasoline

Thank you for your comment when the fuel pump gets ware on it the pressure will drop plus the heat will make it drop more not much through thank you for your comment 👍

Hey LP, finally got my Baron pulley kit, I think that plus the mod you did in with the restricter plate will be amazing. Seeing this I should probably check my fuel pressure too!

@lp.670 it does really well so far, just with the rpm drop coming and having heard the stock fuel pumps can be problematic before seeing your vid, wondering if isn't a good idea keep an extra lying around! Tha KS again for an awesome video

No Sir the problem was water in the fuel tank and I have a video of it I think the video is call clogged fuel filter Vulcan 900 and since that video I have no more problems with her you can see the video thank you for your comment sir 👍

2nd fuel filter in pump? Im aware of the tea bag lookin filter inside plastic housing. But where is 2nd?

I was riding n she started dying. Got to point wouldn't run at all. I put that quantum rebuild kit in thinking fuel pump was going out. Put everything back together 😢 nothing. I sprayed some fuel in intake n she turned right over so its definitely a fuel delivery issue. Have you ever traced down fuel line to injectors? If so do you have a video?

Sir do you hear a noise in your tank if so your second filter is clough watch my other video.....filter clough Vulcan 900 .... I think this will help you out with your problem listen to the sound the bike is making at the beginning of the video I hope this helps you out let me know sir 👍
