Hey Shawn, good video. As an ev driver living in the UK with 2 electric cars (eGolf and Tesla model S) the only advice which I would offer to others attempting a similar journey is to let the battery run down lower (5% or more if you have the nerves for it) and only charge to the range you require (maybe with a 10km buffer) or 80% max. The charging/waiting time will be nearly halved. I'm not sure if you were told this but it takes the same time to charge from 80% to 100% as it does to 80%. It took me a while to work that out. I am glad to see the infrastructure is getting there. I plan to bring a electric vehicle over when I move back. The eTron will be a lot easier as it has a bigger battery but use the same charging method and see if that improves your experience

I could see at your night charge the BMS was asking for reduced current because your battery pack was hot. Nice job making the trip.

I drive a 24 kWh Leaf 2014. It averages 50 km/h on road trips, but as long as you know that in advance it is just a matter of planning.
