Shopping. Shopping. Shopping. Black Friday and it was this crowded. Really? hardly anyone was out walking the streets on such a beautiful day. Has online shopping and Cyber Monday really taken over? What a shame. The Pioneer Square Christmas tree was up, though (or probably they call it holiday tree). All they need now are some shoppers.
You'll hear a lot about craft beer this and craft beer that. For craft beer to excite you, I'd be interested what rock you call home, cause that's where you've been. Farm to Fork. Small batch. Get bent. Try not to get too sucked in to this sub-culture as nobody ever has said the food or the beer was the best part of any vacation or city. Unless you go to... (fill in you're favorite city here)
Want to live like a local and enjoy the city as they do? Go to dives. drink cheap beer and end your night and one of the many strip clubs that Portland is so Famous for. I recommend Mary's Club.

The situation has improved massively over the last year. Still a long way to go until it gets back to pre-2018 glory, but it's slowly but surely coming back!

@@LordHeadcheez good to know...at least a some hope.... i jist saw some news on youtube about the homeless camps in front of peoples houses 😥 such a desperation.... ppl cannot even live peacefully in their own neighboorhood... idk if it's ALL OVER Portland but it is so sad to see such a beautifl place that way... hope it get better 🙏😳
