Hi Peter and thank you, I was quite ill back then with failing kidneys so I did find it hard going in the heat!, however my wonderful wife donated me one of her kidneys and I am back up to full health... mrix

Hello and thanks for your kind words, I suppose the distance from Lulworth cove to Durdle door is about a mile and a quarter but the hill up towards Durdle door is tough going, well it was for me especially if your not used to coastal walks, it was a hot day when we filmed the day which makes life a little more difficult, if your off down there tomorrow its going to be much cooler and a little easier I would imagine, as you can see within the video Lulworth Cove its as equally beautiful as Durdle door and not to be missed, hope you have a great day...mrix

@@mrix Hi! Thank you so much for the reply. Yes, you're right. It';s going to be maximum 12 C today I think (it's autumn after all lol!). So fingers crossed it's going to be comfortable walking! :) But I think I'm going to park at Durdle Door and make my way from Durdle to the Cove :) Thanks so much again!

Hello and thanks, from Lulworth to Durdle Door its about half an hour but as you can see by the video that hill path can be tough going, obviously once you get to the top its down hill all the way to the beach... mrix

Hi Sharon, its quite a trek, as you can see by the video we also ventured out to the entrance to Lulworth Cove, all in all I think it was about a 3 hour round trip, its such a lovely location and I cannot rate it high enough, mrix

Hi Sana, you can actually drive direct to durdle door, there is a camp site and car park, its all down to fitness really, I think the long slope is difficult for many, its a stunning place so all the very best if you should decide to go, mrix

Yes there is a direct route to Durdle door which bypasses Lulworth Cove, there is a campsite and parking area right at the top of Durdle Door, all the best its a great day out, mrix
