Hey brother, i got the same set. And i agree with you on the grommets. The solution i came up with was buying some stainless steel D shackles from lowes or home depot. I got the 5/16 size and they are perfect.

I just bought a 5 pack of carabiner set on Amazon for like 12 bucks attached it to the actual mag grip to basically attach the the carabiner on my pull down so basically carabiner to carabiner and it’s made my life so much easier because switching them off was a pain in the ass especially for fast swap.

I just ordered a set myself, I also saw online people insert anchor shackles into each hole and it seems to work too.

I went with the Prime Fitness RO-T8 bar and KAZ handles. Gives me every grip option and length you can think of.

Hey that's cool. I've seen a lot of people go for the Prime Fitness RO-T8. Looks pretty awesome, but in a different price bracket. I've wanted to try it...we'll see.🤔🤔

These QUICKLY went out of stock too! They look like great quality for the price. I just wish I could by a larger and smaller one, for cheaper EDIT: great gym too!! I love having my own garage gym

That's what I've been seeing. They've gone in and out of stock over the past month. Hopefully they are available again soon! Thanks about the gym. I love it! It's that much better now during COVID to always have a space to workout.👍

Just get a couple extra carabiners and leave them on

That's actually exactly what I did based on someone else's recommendation. Now it's working out well. Except they're a little more bulky to store with the carabiners.

You'll definitely need to get a bigger carabiner.

Based on a few other comments, I purchased some dedicated carabiners to permanently leave attached. That should solve the problem for me.👍

If you had to do it over again would you still go with these over mag grips? Or would you save the extra $200 and get the mag grips for the variation on the medium grips?

Good question. I would still get the Walmart ones. I don't see a significant difference between them so I would save my money. I do think I might get one of the mag grip medium grip attachments with either supinated or pronated grip.

Right now I added permanent carabineers to each attachment per some of the previous comments. It's an easy solution to the problem!

You I have now heard that comment from a few people. Walmart must have been cleaned out over Black Friday. I purchased about a week before that. I hope they come back in stock soon for you! I've really been enjoying them.

What hooks are you using for the mag grips?

I got some carabiners from Amazon and placed them on there permanently. That way I can protect the grommets on the grips.👍

These or balance form from amazon ? Both are the same price.

@@DiscoveringStrength I will probably go with the balance form. Just orderd the lat tower V2 from titan and need to get something quick. Also you're review for the walmart brand mag grips was informing.

@@DiscoveringStrength The rubber coating was in good shape. Only one had a minor split near the ring. All the others were perfect. As for comparing them to the walmart set. They seem to be about the same. I will probably get the name brand set in the future for my own comparison. But being the price they are, i can say it was a good buy.

Haha...I don't disagree with you. However it is one more thing you have to think about with these. A few others also suggested buying carabiners dedicated to each attachment. That would work too.👍
