Tips from a yung tenno: You will get higher scoring tricks much easier if you focus on jacking up your score MULTIPLIER! 1. Board spin (Space/Jump) and flip (Right Click/Aim) back to back as fast as possible in the air to build up easy combo multiplier. You must let the board spin animation nearly complete otherwise it doesn't get counted. You can build your score multiplier very fast doing this. Try doing it while jumping between grinds to really rack up the points. 2. If you time pressing Jump just as you hit the ground you can actually keep your trick going, even though you touched the ground. I mostly just spam space as my board touches the ground, causing me to jump back into the air and do a board spin, continuing my trick. This can be done an indefinite amount of times and can be useful for getting to another rail that is too far for a single jump.

"You faceplant until you land it" Like real actual skaters. Whoever is in charge of the Kdrive development is a real skate head. You can tell by the Vent kids' lingos and like the descriptions of the standings where the frist rank goes something like : Never had a ding or scratch on you, you ever ridden a Kdrive before?

Aim where you want to go in the air with your camera, not with A and D. That was my biggest mistake starting off. also, an amazing place for grinding and chaining tricks is The Pearl. The circular track around the orb is perfect.

Brother, thank you for this. I couldn't figure out how to do the from ground flips compared to the in air flips. Now I feel more stylish :)

For simple grinding the standing just go to "The Pearl" and start grinding on the circle around the golden orb. 3secs hold Space>C>RMB>Space>C>Repeat - after 5 rotations u will have 110x31=3000. It is THE fastest way.

Good stuff, thanks for the tips on the finer points of maneuvering this thing. Not sure if we can assign K-Drive camera sensitivity to something other than the default? Feels like it could help.

To max standing daily fast , go to The Pearl ,clean area then start grind , u need less then 20min for maxing

If you just want the standings just do k-drive races. Get on your board, open the map (hold M) and you'll see the purple waypoints (races). The more gates you get before reaching the finish line, the more standings you get. The race at the Temple of Profit gives about 5000 standing if you can get all the gates.

I'm not sure why, but if you do a trick while grabbing the board with the fire button, and you time it right (I think shortly before landing back on a grind but I'm not sure), the base score increases by a lot, but the score multiplier doesn't always go up. It can make it faster to get to 3,000, though.

Im getting 50 point and higher grinds and it isnt counting..it still says zero out of 5...this is getting vwry annoying ive done it probably 8 times not counting all the times i failed and it still isnt counting even though im doing it..

A ton of people here recommending the pearl, I have to say I don't really like going there. It's just annoying to have to stop every 90 seconds to blow up all the Corpus units you will have attracted, I like the pipes behind the Fortuna entrance a lot more tbh.

Disappointed, you didn't tell them to grab copter right before grinding for mega points.
