Is it possible that the Hrud's God was possibly a old one and these mirror devils were the Necorns?

Could be. You never know with these "ancient" or "old ones" figures.

I remember one adventure in Dark Heresy where you face these dudes. A pre-industrial world is going through a small upheaval as the locals duke it out for the position as imperial governor using muskets, and the administratum tries to disentangle itself from what's becoming a succession war. But you are there to check something else out, turns out a few hrud have shacked up in an oversized windmill.

Great work as usual GDN ! I "LIKE" all your videos even before they start as your reputation for great lore videos precedes you . TY for covering the Hrud as they used to get mentioned in the earlier rules/mini codex & even in some earlier codexes . For such a formidable xenos I'd have thought GW would've done more with them .

The Hrud appeared in Pertarabo, one of the Primarch novels. Read it to see what a shitty boss Pertarabo was.

I see no reason why their powers wouldn't work on the tyranids. Unless they can use some hive mind psychic BS to neutralize it.

I'm still hoping to see a book written about the Hrud so we can learn more about their society etc., perhaps written from the viewpoint of a human slave/pet.
