exactly what i thought a lost/proto tyranid hive fleet. there are WAY too many similarities in form and operation to ignore.

@@JeanLucCaptain it should have been written that way, with heavy hints so the reader knew they were tyranids, while the marines/imperium just saw them as an insignificant insectoid race, and believed they were wiped out, never to be heard of again

They're based on The Pseudoarachnids from Starship Troopers the book. The arachnids had a metallic shells, huge eyes, a beak and different castes.

Walks like a Tyranid, claws like a Tyranid, I rekon that there's a bunch of Tyranid. Better call in exterminatus from orbit to be sure.

Great video GDN , I'm kind of glad that the tyranids never got to absorb the mega-arachnids as the resulting next generation of tyranids vvould've been far more formidable . I still believe that the Primarchs made a mistake in not simply ordering an exterminatus from orbit as the campaign for murder vvas too costly, but thats just my opinion.TY again for a great lore video .

Remembrancer: We've just landed on Murder on an area they call Big K(Astartes run past him as they are routed by the Bugs) with the 2nd Company of the Luna Wolves Legion. It's an ugly planet, a MegaArachnid planet! A planet hostile to life as we know- (gets attacked by a MegaArachnid) AAAAAAHHHHH!! HELP ME! Supposedly they are made of metal-esque material so burning them might not be as effective as burning tyranids.

I wonder if they did escape, few of them, by using one of the space marine dropships, few atleast should have managed to land without taking critical damage.

I don't think they were intelligent enough to take over dropships, pilot them somewhere else and then enact some evil master plan :)

The interex themselves are way more interesting, still an awesome xenos. (Don't tell the inqisition any of this please). Also why took it 6 months for the interex to show? Seems strange considering they had a beacon and apparently it was their neigborhood.

what really annoys me is that those WARNING beacons weren't easy to decipher the Interax literally had to tell the FUCKING PRIMARCHS that they were in fact warning beacons.

There are so many universal warning methods. maybe have the satellites emit a holographic image of a megarachnid killing people and storms crashing ships. its not like the Interex lacked that capability. even more ridiculous when you consider that if you don't have a common language, you can use math as a sort of key to unlock a code that shows a video of how dangerous they are or something. because no matter what language you speak or how your computer programs operate, 1 + 1 = 2 is always true.

The greatest weapon against the Tyranids... the Predators of Warhammer 40,000. Think of the Tyranids as Xenomorphs and Megarachnids as Yautja, or Alien vs. Predator

You know the Drukhari could have many uses for this creature I mean they already have snake man and woman just imagine having giant spiders join their ranks 😂 Even one of the craft worlds a special infantry called warp spiders so they're literally halfway there
