I had suspected Haru was the monster, Interestingly there was a line from the mother like "he was going through something and ran away before I could explain it to him" he left because he was becoming a monster and she knew about it. I feel like this story lacks some closure and explanation. like theres just something missing, but maybe that will be explained in the part 2 video
