it's probably not worth the added efficiency further cooling the refrigerant - if it leaks once, goodbye savings.

What changed your mind about doing away with it and just running the hose to the drain?

The owner of the bakery didn't want extra water going to the floor drain because it drains slowly, so I just made a new coil.
