I just wanted to let you know this video right here save me so much time and money. I really appreciate it. God bless on another note. I think it’s really stupid how the Dodge ram does not come with a Van blower motor filter my truck didn’t have one either and I had to do the same thing you did in this video to make my AC start blowing harder. God bless and thank you again very much.

10:58 That two speed mechanical drive is crazy smart. It would be interesting to measure the two pistons and compute the displacements for stage 1 and 2. Is it split 50/100%, or more like 33/100%. I think the tubular pipes and chamber on top are a type of "muffler" to quiet the pulses in the refrigerant line. 16:25 Old style Whirlpool washing machine motors had windings for two forward speeds and one reverse speed. How many power terminals on that "two speed" compressor? Many single speed compressors have just 3 terminals. 28:30 Looks like there are only 3 wires on terminal block.

I do not agree with you on the mulberries. They are my favorite wild berries of all berries. I don't like too much tart in my fruits. As a tropical boy, i grow up on a lot of sweet fruits, mulberries do give me that little bit of tropic with berry flavor. I forage a lot for berries in the summer time, and this year i found a lot of mulberries, service berries, black berries and raspberries. I froze them and used them to make smoothies in the mornings.

If you like tropical flavours, you should try nannyberries if they grow in your area, they have a curious banana-esque flavour especially when they're still a bit underripe

Ah. I see I am not the only one with the makeshift "bathroom" that gets you out of the 1 Bath market. The only positive is house has credit for 2 bathrooms, I can set up that 2nd bathroom however I want and wherever I want in the basement. After some thought, I am going with Pex A and will just eat the cost of the proprietary expander tool. Its all basement plumbing so no contact with sunlight. Pex A is unrestricted flow vs B which has smaller fittings than the pipes. This affects flow. A can kink and be repaired via heat gun, B needs kinks cut out. A just isn't as flexible, but it is flexible enough to avoid the use of many 90 degree fittings. This really helps design a project where you don't bury any fittings inside walls. All pipe.

When working a system with any hydrocarbon refrigerant, put the system on your vacuum pump once you have removed the refrigerant, while you are getting your equipment from your work vehicle, cut the pipes where possible and it will be just like working on a normal system, don’t be afraid be careful, I have worked with this refrigerant for 10 years , do a training course.

probably not as bad as lead from galvanized pipes or solder in copper pipes or even copper itself. At some point you connect to the old city tech so everyone's water goes through crusty steel unless you have a well. If it came down to picking your poison, you want what's in the pex more than lead and other metal shavings.
@Jon-hx7pe9 күн бұрын
@@Kudeghraw the solder is lead free unless connections are old and surface area of solder very low. Lead pipe is definitely a hazard. I would go for copper before pex and to try to reduce exposure to bad stuff when practical. if the water isn't to drink, it doesn't matter.

Just get an electric valve out of a wahing machine, connect hot and cold to it and out to the outside tap. add a water tight three possition switch outside near tap,provide proper wiring and power to work the electric valve in the bacement! switch selects either hot or cold. you can get crazy and instead of three possition switch use a four possition switch and you can then have hot,cold,or warm, or off........

Refrigerants differ at density latent heat of vaporisation mass flow rate heat transfer capacity boiling point therefore you get a gas that absorb and transfer same amount of heat in 30% of the time of another gas and maybe even its compressor run on lower current cause it’s operate at lower pressure or the compression ratio or use different size of piston or rotary high low rpm high low torque also run for way shorter time that why they use different ones in different applications

Yeah we didn't want to "grenade" anything either! 😂 You could possibly make it bigger, but there seemed to be some support ribs that could make cutting more differicult. Hi Reuben, Great video. Question: I have to replace the 4 rubber vibration absorbers that the motor housing screws down on top of - I e. the design by which the motor screws into the base of the fan housing. I am wondering about the 4 threaded studs on the base of the motor - not the bolts that screw through the holes in the motor housing that tie into those 4 rubber bushings that hold the motor in place. Do those 4 bottom threaded studs in the motor get screwed to anything, or are they just alignment or guide studs? It looked like when you pulled the motor out, and put it back in, those 4 threaded studs were not tightened to anything, they just align the motor to the base of the fan housing? Am I right on that? It seems like the only things that get bolted down are the two set screws that affix the motor shaft to the fan, and the 4 motor housing bolts that screw into the rubber mounting absorber studs? Am I right on that? Thise rubber vibration mounting bushings that attach the motor to the face of the fan housing appear to just rest in the aluminium base of the fan housing - is that tight? The 4 rubber vibration studs that the motor bolts in to on my fan have deteriorated and broke. My motor and fan are running fine - but the motor is just resting on the top of the housing - nolonger affixed to the housing... not good So I'm thinking I could buy the 4 little rubber vibration studs from Captive Aire and just replace them and rebolt the motor on properly. What do you think? Are those 4 rubber mounting studs merely positioned into the aluminium base of the fan and held in place because the motor mounting bolts - once rescrewed in - hold the motor and rubber mounting studs in place? Any advice would be most helpful... Sincerely, Mike ([email protected]) 808-442-2424
