Wasn't the green wolf carrying the torch? That would be the Gangrel carrying out her dangerous stunts I would imagine. The flip-flopping moon is of course the encounter with Jeanette.

Jeanette and Therese are such perfect opposites in more ways then one. There’s a reason I picked Jeanette in my VTMB play through - she’s erratic, wild, and dangerous, but she’s NOT a cold blooded operator the way Therese is. She doesn’t actually want the main character to get hurt. The only one she actually moves to harm is her own sister, and the reasons for that one are complicated. Jeanette puts on a show of being unstable but when she says a thing she’s usually right. Nothing she tells Annebelle is wrong or a lie, even if Annabelle isn’t ready to hear it. Jeanette is giving her really good advice, if she could just understand what’s being said.

Yes, I agree, she was tremendously good in both roles!

I for real didn't realize it was the same actress. I haven't played the game so I didn't know the idea behind these characters.

Knowing both characters well, she did a great job. I wish who ever casted this show could cast Marvel or DC movies, because it is insane for them to get so many great guests, and actually nail the already established characters so well. There are not many people who could pull off both Therese and Jeanette, but this has been done near perfectly.

yeah the Sisters are hands down *the* most powerful vampires in LA. *Maybe* Strauss could square up against them but aside from that there's no one in LA that can scratch them. The sisters are a step away from being Methuselahs and are capable of horrible destruction.

@@sinitall On the wiki it says that Strauss’ generation is presumed to be 7th, and if he, like he claimed, was there to witness the convention of thorns, he is at least 600-700 years old. The only reason he isn’t Prince is because he doesn’t seem to be very interested in politics, but he is probably terrifyingly powerful. Therese/Jaenette in comparison are maybe around 150-200 years old (they say they are “two lifetimes old” in bloodlines). I personally wouldn’t want to face off against either.

Not really. Knowing the secret, that doesn't change that Therese is betraying the anarchs for the Camarilla while Jeanette is firmly with the anarchs. That's an issue for the sisters knowing their secret, but malkavians don't have to do just one thing. They're 6th gen by the way. They are crazy powerful.

And perhaps that is exactly the point. Vampires are selfish by default. And this is where Annabelle is selfish. So she tries but she is ultimately still a vampire

@@rondirainibennain5269I get the impression Annabelle had alienated or lost everyone she’d ever loved before she got to Griffith College. Outside of the friends and causes she had there, she didn’t have anything. It would explain why she latched onto her romantic partners so hard, and her ideals became not just the thing she studied but what she lived for. In other words, she was like a teenager who’s going in too hard, too fast, and then when they lose the thing they’ve attached to, they re lost.

Don't forget that "Daffodil" and his sniper rifle did most of the dmg to Chaz and if D had missed even a single shot or Chaz had any real plan (i mean he went to the limo that didn't even had keys in it, why not have a dedicated driver?). Really coeterie had tons of luck that they managed to pull that off. If i ware a few centuries old vampire i would have a few backup plans in case something goes wrong and its not like they surprised him, he though that the whole coeterie will be there so at least 4 vampires and he went into that as the only vampire with only 3 ghuls, like do you really live that long (when everyone hates you even in your own sect) without basic fucking math? If like 3 suv with heavily armored security would roll up to the place like 5 minutes later (even if it was a false alarm he would just go home or whatever with them) it would change everything. Like when i think about being a vamp i make at least few different plans on how my haven would weaken/eliminate all opposition before they had any chance of getting to me (like one floor just closes and flamethrowers burn everything inside, if they survive that go to final lvl im long gone through secret passage to the basement and the whole floor explodes while i have a gateway vehicle and ghuls ready to assist. that type of stuff. I think that ANY vamp should have at least a few ideas to how secure his unlife and not just to wing it like most do because it makes it doubtful that they survived for so long in my opinion.).

That's what I've been thinking. Yes I fully support Annabelle on he whole non-violent thing. But, she needs to learn to truly be a brujah. She needs to learn that sometimes, you have to do a few things you dont like.

I think Chaz was simply arrogant and therefore didn't prepare necessarily in an extended amount. Just thinking he could teach those "children" a lesson. Also as unnerving as annabelle is, it would mean a lot less conflict (no pun intended). Earlier on she seems a lot more enraged and too well adjusted to not impulsively punch the next best thing. At this point in the story she's almost too calm for the extreme outbursts we saw earlier with Carver or Nick. It would seem more fitting if she just beat Rags or others up, but refuse to kill them. Which leads to another conflict with the character, because exerting power over others also doesn't sit very well with her. Personally I do enjoy the other character's including the "bad ones" a lot more. Which is due to the believable acting of those involved. Annabelle seem a little out of place at times.

I strongly suspect that B. Dave Walters knows- dude seems to have VtM lore on lock. He even mentioned how Nines killed that werewolf. I'd also bet a moderate sum that Alex Ward knows; he's got plenty of expository dialogue that would imply a working knowledge that goes beyond research for the show itself.

We don't keep it a secret from our cast, or our viewers. It's right there for everyone to see in the lore, the books, and Bloodlines 1. The V5 core rulebook mentions it specifically. :)

There's not much consequence for the players flaws in this campaign, to be honest. I won't call it wrong, It's the ST's style, and if it's what the players enjoy, more power to them. But it dampens the enjoyment for me, personally. Roll4It's Sounds of Silence/Silence of Shadows has a lot less production value, but the story is much more in line to the style I prefer, where the players learn to be on edge because most mistakes really fucks 'em up.

Like tbh I think the level of plot armor the characters have in this campaign just makes it a bit more entry-level for new blood or people crossing over from CR. It's a super smart move imo, even if it pokes at us veterans once in a while.

Oh I am so waiting for her ideals to get crushed. It kinda contradicts itself when it comes to vampires.

I think at this point it doesn't exist anymore. In the canon timeline, Therese gets the pendant, reconciles with Jeanette (they just pretend not to get along outward), deals with the spirits problem and demolishes the hotel like she wanted to.

You called it right, Nines is a Brujah so he would believe in what Annabelle is already because they are clan of humanity. As for the others they did set Victor up to fail by giving him a barony, but as for Annabelle they know she is their best hope to rally the Anarchs like MacNeil did. That will change once she really threatens their seats of power rather than a tool to keep it, at which point they will start throwing her into situations they want her to fail (and hoping leads to meeting her Final Death).

Jeannette and Therese believe they are separate although they obviously cannot be in two places at once but it is full on disassociative identity disorder where they believe they are sisters and two individuals.
