Kinda like it now.. Very useful for multi tasking stuff with 2 screens. Also the clever lift hinge. Nice innovation..

Nice review man! This laptop with i5, 16GB RAM, Iris XE and 1TB SSD cost now in my country only 1.100€. I think it's absolutely perfect laptop for my office work (Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP, Teams, music and googling), cause I have constantly open 6-7 apps/programs and a lot of windows in Chrome. Tomorrow I'll have my :-)

Normal/basic1080p editing multiple clips with some overlays, sounds, music etc it's fine. If you have 2 positioned videos next to each other with a background moving throughout it may take a while to render, and previewing it may be a bit jumpy. For complex video effects, try investing in something with a GTX1080 or RTX2080/RTX3080. These are actually cheaper on the used market than this duo screen offering.

Already on its way to meeeee!! About time for a new laptop, because my old one starting to disappoint me after 8 years of usage. I never know that the old Zenbook Duo got its new alteration. This version are way better, more value than the previous ones. Hence, my next laptop!

@@labnew6616 the screen is awesome! And yes, the trackpad IS smaller. The keyboard feels a bit cramped. But, the multitasking experience is the best. I've been relying on the 2nd screen whenever I do my tasks using the laptop. Worth buying if you can accept all those perks and shortcomings. The 2nd screen, is very useful.

Do not buy. Battery life 2 hours only. These fucking youtubers get paid to give fake reviews. I am not even getting a replacement because i did not save the thermocal that comes with the laptop box.

@@wanderwen finally got it working when you install make sure to manually make the install folder with CC in the name "c:\programfiles\adobe\Adobe photoshop CC 2020" or 2021 or what ever version you use. Temp slider for lightroom no working always sets to 2000k

A 4K / UHD version may be better. In FL studio it's not as fluid as I would have liked. The bottom screen is only 515 pixels high so some module are too large and you still have to run multiple monitors.

The standard model with Intel Iris graphics will struggle to render highly 3D games. You want something different with a GTX1080 or RTX2080/RTX3080 which on the used market can be a lot cheaper than this laptop. There are now NVIDEA versions of this laptop but nothing like the X080 cards.

If your looking to do any higher level video editing, the pro 15 inch version has enough power for that. If it's just basic video recording, this is fine as Intel's Xe graphics perform quite well (with the I7 especially of course).

Just bought this. Delivered today. (i9, 32gb, RTX 3070, 4k OLED, 15.6"). It has a few odd FAULTS that I am curious whether anyone else's has: 1) there is a quiet buzz whenever the track pad is used. Very quiet, but enough to be irritating, and certainly odd. Never had this on a laptop before. 2) the screen doesn't quite fit to the bottom besel flush. So there is a gap between the screen and the bott bezel. 3) actually has the green AERO backdrop when I loaded it. Anyone else had/have similar issues with theirs?

You do not have the model reviewed in this video. Based on the specs you mentioned, you have the Zenbook Pro Duo. That's not what this video is about.

The only problem may be closing the lid with something resting on the lower screen, and then breaking both screens.

I have the asus zenbook duo 14 UX482 intel 11gen core 17 1165. It heats up like anything. Just after 20-30 mins of youtube the temperature easily boosts to 60 degree. is it normal? Also Battery lasts for 6-7 hours in normal usage of browsing or writing in wordpad.

Technicaly yes. However, if that is your objective, it will be so so slow it will be frustrating, so stick with laptops/desktops with nVidia graphics ending in the number 80. GTX1080, RTX2080, RTX3080 they can actually be a lot cheaper.

Just bought this laptop after watched your video boss. But the battery can’t last longer than 6 hours. I just can get around 4-5+ hours only. 🥹 how come you can get the 12hrs+? My spec is i5, 8gb 512gb storage
