That Tonowanda plant has built Corvette motors since God was a baby. They also build all the motors for all the vehicles in the bow tie lineup. One of the best things in upstate N.Y. If you don't know, Tonowanda is a suburb of Buffalo.

I had the same badging on the valve cover of my 350 Small Block in my 1969 Rally Sport Camaro! They’ve been building quality Small Block Chevy Engines there in Tonawanda for decades! Quality and Pride in thousands of engines!

CGarnerSpeed252 By the way, love the channel and the journey! My ‘69 was a hand me down from my older sister in ‘74. I kept the car until ‘89 and sold it to get into my first home. Do I regret it? Yes. At that time it was the right decision for my family. In the next couple of years I will definitely be headed into the C8 world! Presently I’ve got an ‘18 Camaro SS that runs and handles fantastic. I’m fortunate that I have experienced the Golden Era of Muscle Cars from the ‘60’s and the resurgence of the new Muscle Car Era!

C8 sales triple in Japan! An impressive statement until you finish it with Chevy sold 600 of em as opposed to 200 last year. And... You can get the car in a right hand drive configuration from the factory for the first time. That alone should push sales up considerably in places like Australia, Japan & the UK. The conversion is incredibly expensive. Love the car. Don't trust the sales stats. Sup neighbor! (252)

I put a deposit down of $1000 in June or July and on 08/17/19 went to the dealership to spec out and build the vehicle, I received preliminary order detail # but haven't heard back from the dealership. I called and left my # with the manager and haven't received a call back.... WTF! Any suggestions on what I should do?

I think I going to change my initial color from shadow gray to Elkhart Lake Blue with the 2LT package, z51, Mag ride, carbon flash rims. Not trying to go too overboard as this is my 1st vette.

You're beginning to pace like an expectant father. 😉 Then again, if that were the case in real life, you'd be pacing from the first "official" word from the Doctor that you ARE going to be father, which might be 7 or 8 months. Now that you "know" your C8 Fatherhood is "real," it's only few months away. Enjoy what is now "real" and can be labeled as the beginning of your C8 experience and will continue with you for as long as you own it. Save the Wave and Savor the Experience.🙋🏼‍♂️❤

@@cgarnerspeed252 Long Beach Red doesn't do the car justice, makes it look like every other car. Red, Blue and black are good colors. LBR SUCKS. I was in the Porsche and flew up on the C8 and slowed way down while the kid snapped some pictures and the GM guys were waving at us with the Plant in the back ground. I saw the car a good 20 car lengths back and had to punch it to catch it in time.
