The first watch is the rose gold Roger Dubuis La Monegasque Perpetual Calendar DBMG0006. The case measures 44mm, and it is 12.5mm thick.

Having a perpetual with manual winding will be a nightmare to live with. You have to constantly wind it or repeatedly setting it via a tool for the dimple pushers. You don't want to go through that. Ultimately, look for a perpetual with a big date and auto that is easier to read, such as A Lange & Sohne or Chopard.

Ulysse Nardin do many perpetual calendars with all the date functions adjusted by the crown, no pushers and both forwards and backwards.... genius but no one gives them the credit they deserve!

@@dougm659 Good point. And they are also a very good value for what you get. However, I think the somewhat non-confirming dials are what hurts them.
