This was a little strange, and we only made it stranger.
What a Death Battle. What a crossover, I tell ya. They really outdid themselves with this one. From the animation, to the editing, to the comedy, everything felt in character and spot on for both. I feel this this was the perfect ending for the episode. Bill won the fight by killing Discord but Discord won in his own way by saving the world and his friends.

This is definitely one of the best episodes of the show overall, props to the Death Battle team. I was rooting Bill all along, but Discord won me with *that* ending, ngl. For anyone whose wondering about the flashing image of Bill with the Cipher text in the end (15:29), it says "We'll Meet Again, Death Battle."

13:31 Discord *CAN`T* be gone for good(well, maybe, only if he betray chaos for an order, maybe it`s the only way for him, to be gone forever). Bill and Discord won and lost at the same time. Bill won because killed Discord, but lost, because he eventually, maybe he`ll be waiting for trillions of eons, but someday will make a deal and escape Nightmare Realm. Discord won, because undone Weirdmageddon, saved Fluttershy(and Equestria as a bonus) and lost, because he died, yet it`s also temporary, he literally is *THE* chaos, he is embodiment of this very concept, it will take some time, but he will comeback, as long as there`s chaos - there will be Discord.

The Sephiroth Bill fight was so inaccurate though. The fights that channel does are cool but their research absolutely downplays characters a lot and is not accurate. Bill would absolutely DESTROY Sephiroth. Bill without the weirdness restrictions is Universal at least, he one-shotted the time baby who literally drinks universes and Sephiroth is absolutely NOT universal or near their level. Anyways rant aside good video!

Sephiroth in his peak with power scale he can drew power from god of cycles and defeat multiverse level dragon like Shinryu that live in dimensional Rift with other hero even god fear Shinryu strength. In Dissidia FF timeline when some faction wins the survivors are killed and everyone is revived to begin a new cycles and it happen like that for a long time he still have a ball and so many hax to deal with bill it not easy to kill him no matter what crossover he goes with he will always be a strong character or last boss.

he didn't die but discord sent him back to is og universe, he's basically back a square one again lmao.

this was a serious case of "discord got the last laugh", bill won the battle but discord won the war. he freed his friends and trapped bill in his og universe again.
