So the drill. Basically why it’s making that noise is the torque on the drill is too high. The numbers behind the chuck determine the torque. At the arrow turn it to 1-4 if driving in short screws; 5-8 if driving screw into soft wood; 9-12 if driving screws into semi-soft to hard wood; 13-16 if hard wood or screws over 3 inches long.Also I saw you drill has variable speed switch 1 and 2. 2 = less torque and 1= more torque. It’s a lot but you will get the hang of it, Sarah ❤

The first thing I was going to say: Don’t rush the process of getting things done. You do have a lot of energy to do what’s necessary, so my suggestion is when you get to your allotment sit down for at least half hour. Write things down as to what you would like to accomplish just for the day . Maybe make a list of things you will need. Take a deep breath before standing up to start your task. Get everything from your space you may need for your first project such as: rope, hammer, nails etc you get the idea. I believe it will help you to do the project without having any issues. Let me know what you think about my suggestion. My husband used to tell me slow down your not going to a marathon. It’s just you and nature 😊 I hope this helps somehow, I was just like you 20 years ago. I had to make myself slow down a bit. Most of all Sarah have fun with this project. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜

I am curious don't you have one of those generators that you can plug a drill into? Though with that post it would be better to dig a hole and put the post in, the post you are drilling into looks too short for what you want to do, though I could be wrong. I love feeding the birds but you have to watch they don't go after your crops. I wish I could grow those yellow squash, red lettuce and carrots and such, I miss the farm I grew up on! I wish you all the best in all your endeavors!
@sarahsallotmentjourney
@sarahsallotmentjourney 4 ай бұрын
No there is nothing like that here and it’s in the middle of the woods so a generator wouldn’t really be welcomed in the peace my strimmer is loud enough . No the post was all I had I just make do with what I have if I can . Keeping costs down and re using where I can . It’s still up lol

Okay. I’m from Texas and we call allotments gardens and they are usually in our backyards. Is your allotment in a separate place? Are your yards not big enough to have a garden? I grow flowers in pots on my deck but that’s about all I can do and I’m lucky I don’t kill them! Maybe you’ll give me some ideas? Have a good day!

I don’t have a garden I live in a terraced house with a tiny back yard . This allotment is a mile away from my house . You rent the plot off the council to grow stuff can be flowers not just veg . Round here the waiting lists for allotments are 4 years or more

@@sarahsallotmentjourney that’s pretty cool! I understand why they are called allotments. You must live in the city? I live in the suburbs but my property back up to nature reserve and the deer eat everything but that’s okay as they are so beautiful.
