April 8th? Did you mean July 8th Sarah? I had to run the video twice to make sure I wasn't mishearing you. Such hard work to get the gravel to your plot. My plot is on a steep hill too and it is bad enough getting myself up the hill, let alone bags of gravel. I hope your finger is healing ok, and you got some help with the gravel.. Ouch! No April i will be doubling up on videos in august so two a week in august to catch up . I video everything I do so sometimes I film two videos a week . But not always do I will just every now and again do a double catch up month .

Good idea for the first aid kit. We keep one in our car, you never know whe. Someone could get hurt. Your allotment is coming g along great. You must have different growing season than we do in Michigan. Our corn is already knee to waste high. Your allotment is coming along nicely. I can't wait to see how it looks when everything is in bloom and ready for harvest. Talk to you and Mick Sunday oh I thought my wife sprayed sunscreen on me at the beach well I got burnt. In order to make sure you film everything I do there I can make 2 videos a week sometimes and only post one at a time . In august I will be posting two a week just to catch up a little . Don’t want to fully catch up as need a few spare ones to show over winter . I did say about the sunscreen tut lol

Sarah as a fellow gardener,a little bit of advice( if you don’t mind). When your plants are above the ground don’t water during the heat of midday. Early in the morning or in the evening when then sun is less hot.

I agree. I was taught to water underneath the plants. We have hit a dry spell and that’s how my husband is watering. Our garden is thriving despite the heat and the lack of rain.

Great idea to have a first aid kit especially for garden mishaps. I just potted up some lovely old fashioned roses and my vegie patch is going strong. I can certainly sympathize with sore hips as I’ve already had both of mine replaced and I’m only 62. Both knees as well. Now my shoulder is playing up 🤦🏼♀️ Makes everything harder but we just soldier on through don’t we? 😏😉 Look forward to your next video.

Hi Sarah, I’m sorry you couldn’t get those stones to your allotment. Boy, that’s an up hill battle takes the breath right out of you. Your plants are looking great it’s been so hot 🥵 here lately my brother is having a fit. We haven’t had rain for a week or so, but he complains all of the time. 😂😂😂 He has no vegetables, but he has many fruit trees. Peaches, cherry, fig , a Big Ass Blueberry tree, avocado tree and many fruit plants. He loves growing things. Anyway, I hope your finger gets better. Have a wonderful week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜

When I used to grow sweet corn, we always soaked it in water for a couple of hours before we planted it. I enjoy your videos. From Oregon in the USA.

Your corn should grow just fine. Having the rows like you have them should be just fine as far as the pollination, which is done by the wind and not bees . Be proud of your garden, sarah b/c they sure are a whole lot of work and time !

Feeding& caring for livestock, & planting,gardening,picking& prep&candling& canning till most days 2am .maybe 3 yo 5 hrs.sleep if your lucky.& we weren't.gotta work what they called a real job to pay rent to.kids💖today ?have no clue.Amen? Its getting exciting now things are starting to grow. Beer traps are a good idea, you just need yog pots or something similar and put a drop of beer or cider in them and that will keep the slugs happy and merry. You do have to replenish from time to time especially when it rains.🌽🌽🌽
