I think Darkspore was a flop partly because a lot of fans thought it'd be more like it's predecessor, Spore, where you could create your own creatures/heroes, name them and give them their own backstory, and give them their own powers and abilities. The best you could do was swap abilities off of pre-made heroes, attach power-up items, change their colors, and change their versions (from what I vaguely remember, each hero had like 4 different looks mostly color palettes and patterns; maybe one version has spikes, maybe one version has a fin or something). The bugs didn't help either and it just went downhill from there.

Wild Buster could have been something awesome. But no. Ruined by a greedy, no good sociopathic idiot. Talk about wanting too much.

It's weird and sometimes a little sad that games can effectively "die". Even if they're crap to play, they might be more valuable as their separate parts, like if a game has shitty gameplay but good music or art design, or maybe it has lousy controls but there's some interesting level design ideas. With the game pulled and unavailble, we may never learn more from them. Ross from Accursed Farms said it best: "You never know what's going to inspire people". Although in the case of Digital Homicide, we don't have to worry since literally all of their crappy games were worthless asset flips.

What Abstractism's developer did was they had fake Team Fortress 2 items on the Steam community marketplace (not DLC) and they made these items look identical to the items from Team Fortress 2 meaning that users could utilize these fake items to try and scam users wanting TF2 items by giving them the fake unusable items Abstractism dropped from your computer which was through longer playtime, which then further brought incentive towards the crypto mining, more time spent on the game, the more fake item drops scammers could get but in exchange for allowing the game to mine cryptocurrency. Also, minutes is a bit of an overstatement, it took maybe a day or two for the game to be removed after news broke. 9) Piccled Ricc - Berdyev did not receive a request from Valve to take the game down for copyright infringement, Valve forcibly removed the game because a DMCA takedown was filed by Cartoon Network. It wasn't just Piccled Ricc alone that got removed either, the entirety of Berdyev's game catalog was pulled from Steam with a few reasons being cited. The first was repeated postings of copyright infringing work to the store with Piccled Ricc and Berdyev's previous title Vaping SImulator being cited as Vaping Simulator had Pepe the Frog as the playable character which that game was pulled as well via a DMCA from Pepe's creator when he was DMCAing everything else that used Pepe in some form. Berdyev had also been harassing customers and additionally using sock puppet developer accounts to mass publish more games while concealing his involvement, which was also cited by Valve for business ties being severed. 6) Raccoon Hero - This is probably the worst one on your list. Almost everything said in this entry was wrong. So to cut a long story short the whole Steam Greenlight talk given in the video is irrelevant as the game wasn't even on Steam Greenlight. The game came onto Steam via the Steam Direct method. The difference between them, in short, is that Steam Greenlight meant developers could submit their game for community voting and only if they got the sufficient votes and ratings from the STeam community could the game get onto Steam. Steam direct jumps this hurdle and just puts the game straight onto Steam with little to no barriers, hence leading to one of the main criticisms of Steam Direct being it allows spammers to run rampant and Raccoon Hero and its developer Zonitron Productions/Silicon Echo are the embodiment of Steam Direct at its worst. What the developers did was is that they controlled a bunch of sock puppet accounts (around 15) and mass produced identical products across these accounts which were reportedly messing with Steam's functionality. It wasn't just Racoon Hero either, Zonitron had a bunch of series that generated upwards of 8 "sequels" that were just identical to the last, varying from SHAPES and Ninja just to name a few. The developers were also creating what was dubbed as "illegal bundles" where they bundled multiple games under one app ID to get around the minimum purchase amount set by Steam while also shipping separate games to people for them to farm Steam trading cards, of which the developers gain a profit from them. The games were asset flips, true, but that fact had nothing to do with the removal. 3) Day One: Garry's Incident - While everything about the events surrounding the game, Totalbiscuit, treatment of critics and the Metacritic fake reviews is correct, none of this seemed tied towards the removal. All of the stuff described in the video happened in 2013 meanwhile the game was removed in 2018 for unknown reasons. Steam did not remove the game, it was voluntarily done by developer Wild Games Studio alongside their second game Dysan the Shapeshifter. Honestly, a channel with your big of a following and that promotes its self as being all about informative content, you really should make sure the information you spout is correct.

Where's Arkham Knight at ? Broken at launch , finally pulled from steam . Promised to be fixed and was gutted , with removal of SLI & Crossfire . Then a fake "refund" policy that had to rely on where you purchased it at and not from them . Oh & if you refunded the game they removed any Arkham game you already owned .

No mention of Moonrise? It was advertised as an MMO monster catcher game, required an internet connection but you never interacted with anyone. They also charged for packs of higher tiered monsters and in game coins. Without warning after just a few months, they shut down the servers so no one could play the game. It's still listed on steam if you search for it but you cannot purchase it.

um 007 legends was actually confirmed of why it got "pulled" it was due to the license issues it wasn't just pulled from steam, even PSN and XBOX live took down the skyfall DLC (which was free) it was all because the license issue. activision chose not to renew it and that's why they had to take the game off EVERY platform including the free DLC, because a lot of people complain even about that, "oh i bought this used game for my ps3 for the skyfall missions and it's not there anymore to DL" yah because they had to take down EVERYTHING or they'd get sued. simple as that and it was 100% released info, you're def right on the whole "it failed" thing and that's most likely WHY they didn't re-new anything. I think activision is just done with the 007 "rights" if you will in general, 007 legends was the last game they had the "rights" to make (as in the still had a license agreement to use the 007 franchise for one more game, that game failed, they didn't re-new the license and i'm pretty positive they didn't re-new any rights to the franchise as well) i can't comment on EVERY game you have listed here, but i can def comment on that (as i'm a 007 fan and own every game ever made, which sucks because multiple games are on different platforms, but i have them all and know my shit with 007 games) and 007 has went through diff "eras" (if you will) and by that i mean the "rights" have always been given to new devs/pubs and if you PAYED any attention to previous games, they ALL worked this way (quantum of solace as a GREAT example because it also got pulled BECAUSE OF LICENSE EXPIRING and it's also from activision) i'm not going to get into the old school games like "the duel" etc because most even gamers dunno anything about those games, so skip all the "old" stuff and let's just start with the most common (even if you're not a 007 fan you know this game because it's pretty much [sadly] the one game EVERYONE wants to think "changed" the game for the fps genre lol) 007 Goldeneye that was made by rare, and it was the only one made by them. Then EA acquired the license, and they had it for the longest time out of anyone else, they did the world is not enough (even the N64 version and why people will bash on that one but not goldeneye it's because people FAIL to realize EA made world is not enough not rare TWO COMPLETELY different devs) and pretty much everything else after that point all the ps1 007 games (which there are only 3 and i'm not including the racing one i have no idea who made that one nor do i care cause it honestly has nothing to do with 007 it's a racing game with a 007 theme so i don't count that one) were done by EA and all the ps2 games were also done while under EA, then after that EA era activision got the rights and they are pretty much the ones to bring you the most current 007 games aside from Bloodstone, that was again a one and done (just like rare) game that was done by bizarre creations (mostly known for their project gotham racing games) and i will say this. it's prob the best (last) bond game we have been given, what's funny is, it was the last game bizarre made before they shut down, which sucks because it was an original game (as in didn't follow the movies at all) and it was actually done quite well, when you compare THAT to well, the 3 games activision pumped out while they had the rights to it (quantum of solace, goldeneye reloaded, and legends) then it def went out as the "last BEST 007 game" because once activision gained the rights to 007 that's when it all went downhill, then it just became CoD clones with a 007 theme and that's why it just didn't work. CoD fans were obv playing CoD and why would they bother with something else? aka why play a clone when you can just play the game etc. so it didn't sell well to that crowd and then take us (such as myself) the 007 fans, we didn't really care for those games because they were CoD lmao and that's pretty much why the "activision" era of 007 was by far the worst and when we're talking about "new games" yah honestly Bloodstone was the last one that was actually good. point to all this was it's happened before with quantum of solace (that was once on steam and on games for windows when it existed but both got removed and it was all due to license issues) it's just what happens if they don't want to re-new those license (for the games themselves because the "rights" to use a franchise and the license to the property of a game are two different things) then they sadly have to take the game off the market. This happens with TONS of other games and it has to do with just well how we operate now, back in the days when digital downloads etc weren't big obv you didn't have all these "license" bs issues (look at friday the 13th) a game came out and it was OUT for good and you can go to a store and buy it whenever, not how shit works now-a-days if you want a game to STAY on a platform and it's something that is a franchise or property based thing you do have to keep renewing the license or you do have to take it off of DIGITAL stores because you can't "profit" off of something you no longer have the license/rights to. that's why they even took down the DLC again that was FREE it had nothing to do with just the game being bad (even though as i mentioned it's def a GREAT reason as to why they didn't re-new the license for the game) it was a license issue and even FREE stuff such as the DLC they don't tech have the "rights" anymore to "distribute" that said product. why i'm also pointing out the fact i don't believe activision has the "rights" either anymore so they can't legally sell any of their previous games via digital platforms, yah you can buy them used still and buy physical copies (because they don't profit off of that shit anymore) but they can't do it via digital means because then, yes they do profit off of it, and you just can't profit off of something you no longer have the rights to. A great example of this is PSN (but steam does the same thing) if you don't keep re-newing your license and telling psn you want your game on their store, even they will take it down. everything that's digital is on a time based (usually yearly) expiration date if you don't keep re-newing your shit, they will even take your game down. many indie devs go through this (i know a few personally) and so i know how this stuff goes, it's not as simple as you just launch your game and it's there forever. not how it works and MANY games have suffered what 007 legends suffered. rambo the game is another one, used to be on steam but not on steam anymore and was it because it failed? not at all the devs never re-newed the license, it EXPIRED and they HAD to take it down steam (you can go google it, and you will still see it but you can no longer buy it etc.) it happens all the time with games not just 007 legends but at the end of the day dude it's license expiring, it was 100% released too activision didn't just say fuck you to everyone and leave them in the dark the way you're making it seem. n again i know like you're not a 007 fan like me, so why look into just ONE game when you're obv making a list, i just felt like yah i should shed some light on the 007 legends game at least because they did release why they had to take it down, and they also even confirmed why the free DLC would no longer be made available on both PSN and xbox live as well as steam obv. end of the day it may have been "bad" to some people and just honestly a CoD clone but in no way was it just removed from steam just because it was "bad" lol
