Here is my prediction: Floor = 6 wins; Expectation = 7 wins; Ceiling = 8 wins Also, did anyone else see that Matt Rhule stormed the court with fellow Husker fans at last night's basketball game? I honestly think that is pretty cool that he openly shows his support for all the other Husker sports! Let's hope that Nebraska can go to March Madness, GBR!

Michigan showed me how winning in the trenches beat Washington on offense and defense. The last time a saw a defense make a great quarterback look bad was rushing 4 yet still getting hits on him. The last time I saw that was was 1995 Nebraska against Miami

I think 8-4 is reasonable, and I would agree with that prediction. However, I like us to beat Iowa this time around. I think we end up losing one we probably shouldn't have (Illinois, Purdue, or Indiana), which leads me into your 2nd question. I believe any Big Ten team that seems like an "easy win" is very dangerous. This season, Michigan State was THAT team for us. Losing to them arguably derailed our entire season. So, on the basis of that, any conference team on the schedule that seems like an automatic win worry me greatly. I'll predict Indiana this time because we have had issues with them in past seasons. Just throwing this out there for everyone to ponder, Back in the day the Last time Alabama had a Historic Head coach (Bear Bryant) leave their program, The Huskers started a dynasty that lasted 30 years +. All I am sayin is Hollywood is in a state of REMAKES lately Maybe, JUST MAYBE College Football has a REMAKE script of their own since, the latest Tide Legend coach has decided to call it quits. With this latest recruiting class and the way things are shaping up with scheduling and what not all the pieces are in place for "A MIRACLE AT MEMORIAL" Next Year Go Big RED!!!!

It's really hard to make a prediction with a team we don't really know. We'll win a lot of games if the Black Shirts hold the opponents to 13 points like they did last year.

I'm usually not a fan of prediction videos but yours are always well broken down. You make very educated guesses and try to leave out the kool-aid. I would have to agree with all your picks so far. I'm really hoping for 8-9 wins but we at least better make a freaking bowl in year two!!

I’m thinking 6-6 UTEP - W Colorado - L Northern Iowa - W Illinois - W Purdue - W Rutgers - L Indiana - W Ohio st - L UCLA - L USC - L Wisconsin - W Iowa - L I think Nebraska goes 1-2 vs Colorado, UCLA, Wisconsin rather than 3-0 as you’re predicting. Can’t give Rhule the benefit of the doubt in those type of games until he proves otherwise

This will be an interesting year.. I have to think that Cam Lenhardt and that D line is gonna be ready to get after Sheduer... I really think this is a bad spot to play Tony White so early in the year for that freshman Oline. I bet he gets confused and gives up some big sacks missing his reads adjustments and blocking assignments. The question is does Deion throw him under the bus after like he did to Cormani McClain. I have to laugh that Colorado keeps bringing lower school retreads thinking they are gonna a win with guys that the losing schools did not want. Starting to figure out how many more years Colorado wants to get overhyped and embarrassed with a poor record. The only game I see different is the Ohio State game. I think OSU wins but if we go in undefeated. I feel like our team has confidence and alot to fight for so we hold it close and make OSU sweat. USC still has to fix that D. Until I see if I won't believe it. They have thier own adjustments coming from the Chuck and Duck PAC12 to the B1G. We really have no business losing to any team except OSU if Raiola is all he is billed out to be.

Idk, Rukers and Colorado are going to be tough, ucla and USC always have good talent. But it's too early for all that. A bigger question is, can Rayola learn the offense in his first year, and can he stay healthy all season? That has been a been a problem at nebraska for many years.

Agree with a lot of your analysis Connor. One thing about the "true freshman" at QB. I think with DRs skill set, it's like getting at LEAST a sophomore starting. Has played every moment of his life to be here. Skill set is above what we might see out of a second or third year player. I also think MR has had his taste of both the B1G and losing. I think he will not hold back if it makes Nebraska better. One thing he knows, it's bigger than any one person. I said it before, most successful teams have a seasoned head coach on staff. If they are really discussing bringing in Holmgren? Shows he is ready for help at player/team development AND game planning/execution help. One of the biggest moves with Raiola this off-season. My waaaaay to early prediction, Nebraska flips the script. Goes 10-2 behind a freshman QB and a defense that takes another huge stride forward. Ty, Nash Jimari up front. Lenhardt, Princewill, and not forget Maverick coming off injury. This defense will be seriously legit. As always, LFG GBR ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️

I dont see 8 wins next year. We do have a 5 star QB, but hes going to be a freshman with no experience. I see losses with Ohio St, USC, UCLA, Wisconsin and Iowa, so at best 7 wins. I think we will go to a bowl game.

Understanding we have had 7 straight losing seasons, I’ll still be disappointed with worse than 8-4 this year. We really should have been at least 7-5 last year, so I don’t think that record would be an improvement this year.

Your coach is building a program with strength, good tackling and good blocking. Forget about 2023 and believe in him. My opinion as an outsider.

5 and 7 or 4 and 8!I remember NU was suppose to be undefeated going into MI game...LOL Horrible O line play will be slightly better but not enough to win 7 games.

I think 7-5 or 8-4. Does 8-4 and a bowl win get them a Top-25 Finish? Probably. I think they start out hot with that easy early schedule but them stumble down the stretch with those nightmare last 5 games. It'd be cool to see them beat a team like Ohio State or Iowa on the road this year. I don't think our offensive line is there yet, and that might make it a 5-6 game season for Raiola, who likes to hold the ball too long as it is. I think 2025 if the year they have an almost "elite" type program again.

7-5 is realistic. More likely 6-6. As shown in 2023, QB will be a big key. No matter how many stars a QB received in high school play, college football is a big jump. Won't be surprises if true freshman Dylan Raiola struggles.

I predict they will win at least one game..hopefully, maybe, possibly.

I played "worst case scenario" and came up with a 5-7 record. But 7 or 8 wins is completely believable. But, like you, I said the same thing last year. We are playing 3 team I really despise. Colorado (I hope that program implodes and they cease to exist), Iowa. (Like, why would anyone be a fan of that team) and USC (if they are never a relevant team again I won't be sad the Pete Carroll, Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush Era just rubbed me the wrong way. ) only hated team missing is Miami. Great analysis. I don't agree on Rutgers. Not in Lincoln when we're 6-0 and Rhule is a better coach with better RB's and better receivers. UCLA is a W too. They just lost their coach and have no O-Line. 8-1. We beat Wisconsin. We beat Lincoln Riley as he has no defense. 11-2. Iowa may be our second L. Vegas put our win total at 7.5. We will cover, go bowling and likely win the bowl game for a 12-2 final. USC lost a ton in the portal.

I’m currently penciling in 7 wins.

I believe the Rhule second year jump is a real thing, and Nebraska will upset a top 10 either Ohio State or USC. I think they end up 9-3 or 10-2. Dana Holgerson will be the biggest factor along with Dylan Raiola. Plus they have the most experience O line in the conference that ended the year pretty damn good all things considered.

Depending on who is Ohio State’s quarterback next year, that could be a sneaky win for the Big Red. They did not look good in their bowl game.

I stopped the video as soon as you said Saban is 72 years old. I never realized that and when you said it I was like WTF!?!!!! lol him retiring DEFINITELY surprised me. It’s just one of those things where you expect him to be there until he’s 90 lol. You know I’m a Rhule hater. With that being said, I finally realized the one thing that would make me a fan. I wanna see him go from Mediocre Matt to Ruthless Rhule. I wanna see this team come out against Utep and absolutely THROTTLE them. Every team we play this season needs to be that way. I think Nebraska will be favored, and can win, every one of its home games. At the same time, I can see us losing every single road game. That means 7 - 5. We might lose one at home (Wisconsin) and win one on the road (Purdue), but the net result will be the same.
