Great idea ! I would get a small diameter piece of pvc tubing with caps, to pack it up and keep the rest of the gear clean (from soot or meat grease/BBQ sauce). Just an idea. Keep up the great work !!!

Love your Stanley pot hacks. Regarding the grill here, it could also be used for cooking fish by wrapping it around and then suspending over fire using wire [from the survival tin] through end eyes of No1/12 at each end. This would help to keep the fish together when cooking.

If you spent a little more you could get the stainless ones (higher melting point) use heat when you bend them. And if you get 2 more you can slide those down the sides to make it ridged.

Along that theme, you could also mix that with your skewer tripod idea and use 4 in the ground and then run the 2 that you are using to make it rigid through the eyes and make a rectangular version of your tripod grill.

If you made these and sold them on your site, I'd buy a few, for me and as gifts for my friends. You are so creative AND have such a positive vibe that even when I'm totally down, you cam make me smile.
