Ten is the senior member among them in terms of experience as he debuted first, but he's more suited for the face of the group or the center of the group which he's. While Kun is a very responsible person they can rely on, that's why he's the leader. Even though Ten is now becoming more mature and responsible, Kun still remains the best fit for the leader's position.

Aside from the fact kun has the personality of the most leaderst leader to have ever leadered on a purely practical basis WayV is the chinese unit and Ten was still learning very rudimentary mandarin when the group debuted so there was no way he could have been leader ! (But also despite Ten being Ten and also the most senior member of the team, if you ever watch variety WayV content it will become very clear very fast why even OG Ten fans like me always expected Kun to be leader of the group while Ten most suited to be 'center' of the group!)

It's easy to misinterpret the song based on the sensual performance but it is actually about the resilience and courage needed to keep on pursuing your dreams and aspirations despite the challenges, hence the metaphor of "action figure". As for the line by Yangyang it is actually "I made that dream". I didn't realize you guys tought the leaders were choosen by being 'the best' in the group lol the chaos that would be if all the groups had leaders based on talent or popularity. Not saying they would be bad leaders just think they have other priorities. I think he leaders really wear a huge responsibility & burden to the point where they sacrifice themeselves to put the group & memebers first. Basically for many groups the leader is the oldest member since Korea is really big in respecting/following your olders. This was the video that truly sold WayV the most to me. It perfectly showcased both their sophisticated and their wild side. The song and the performance have parts that felt delicate and pretty but then also have parts that felt raw and badass.
