Great job y'all. 6 inches of snow may not be much when you can sit in the house and watch it snow but when you have livestock to feed and water, it's a big deal. Stay safe!

You stay safe too. God bless you all. We have had snow followed by freezing rain, and more freezing rain. It is 34 degrees and beginning to melt a little, but it will freeze again tonight.

I am from Edmonton Alberta, and I would never try to compare my experience with cold and yours. Your animals and yourself are not acclimated for frigid temperatures, such as this blowing all across your area. Keep safe, keep warm, and make sure that you stretch inside before you go out to work the animals

Way to go Vwff! As i watch we r in -46 feels like here in nw iowa. Bless u all, this is weather we r well atleast a bit more used to than you all but it is still rotten. We have been under a no travel advised for 2 days and some folks still dont understand...this is weather that kills. You have done all you can like most of us north. You just cant out guess it all but try to prep for most and you all did just that. I hope you and your stock all come out alright! Not much to complain about here, caught a water fount just intime to keep it open otherwise just another day on the farm. Blessings always!❤

Andrea, temperatures have dropped to 12 degrees right now. Expecting it to drop more, and the wind has kicked up. Making it feel like -10degrees. Expecting snow, we shall see. Stay warm, and safe!

I am not as prepared as I wanted to be. I have been dealing with the aftermath of my husbands heart attack, which has been taking me away from what needed to be done for my livestock. My neighbor did manage to bring a round bale for my horse. I'm keeping the goats penned up so she'll have that round bale all to herself this week.

Nice and cozy in the greenhouse. It's 18° here tonight with the arctic storm we've been in. It would have been nice to have a greenhouse to hang out in like yours. Btw, you mentioned farm animals nor being pets you could bring inside. Doesthat mean these garden plants I hauled inside to save from bitter cold are really my pets? 😏 sorry, had to ask. Serious Question...do you have two layers of plastic film on your greenhouse? Reason I ask is growers here in Oregon,we use two layers and blow air in between them to increase the insulation value and provide better heat retention during winter.

Hello - I realize I'm watching this video from 2 weeks ago but how do you keep the tarps from blowing off? Do you tie them down with anchors somehow? We're in SE Oklahoma and growing our farm and don't have big livestock yet so I'm learning.

I went back and put landscaping Timbers on them but that still didn’t hold them on. I need to use 8” blocks and tie them down to that.
