24:05 if tomer said no to putting Pako back in the command zone from the chaos warp he: firstly is embracing the chaos, secondly, he opens up the (small) chance of spinning back into Pako, and thirdly, he can simply play Haldan next turn to tutor Pako back to hand and avoid commander tax --- commenting this before continuing the video in case they mention it themselves

Even with MTGO, it still took them 2hours 40 minutes. In paper things take even longer to resolve.

Yeah, it's one of the few times I've ever conceded a game. I was playing a real deck against 3 Zedruu chaos decks. We had knowledge pool, hive mind, grip of chaos, and more. Ulamog got cast 5 times and changed control several times but never got to attack. It took us at least 20 minutes to resolve thieves auction. After 3 1/2 hours everones life was still above 30. At this point the opponent said they were going to cast another thieves auction, and the other 2 opponents were going to recur it or copy it for everyone. I left. I had to go on with my life. For all I know, they are still playing that game!

Chaos decks are ok as long as they contain some game-enders that prevent the game going too long (nekusar etc. since there's a lot of random draw)

Somehow someway, I wanna see them do Chaos week in paper and livestream the insanity. Crim will be laughing the whole way through, Tomer will be crying from insanity, Seth will still be drawing cards, while Richard or Phil get killed off early and left for pizza.

I mean, I don't think this was "deckbuilding skills" so much as he took a deck that is known for being powerful and added chaos cards. Love you Tomer, but I dunno how much fierce guardianship fits the theme.

Crim had an opportunity to do the most hilarious thing like 40 mins in. He had Radiate in hand and had the mana to play it on Tomers chaos warp, but had tapped out to use chaos wand instead.

Tomer trying to deflect onto Richard for casting ramp and making two zombies while playing back to back free commander cards and a creature that's "chaos" is just casting anywhere from 0-4 cards for free every attack regardless of value. 😂 I enjoy you all I just have to tease. The Tyrant of Discord was so sweet to see happen.

I love tyrant. My favorite time was playing against a Krenko player who was comboing off and made several hundred goblins off of 4 lands. I then kicked a Rite of Replication to copy Tyrant of Discord and completely board wiped him!

This is really handy, as someone who played all throughout Paragon as a kid I only played bots, same now. An overarching idea of WHY these items are good for this role would be useful. You did this with Sevarog well, "you're aiming to be really tanky and run into the enemy team to ult with stonewall protecting you". I've been going for lifesteal and attack speed/damage buffs on basically everyone lol

I think plenty of people will give tomer crap for running powerful cards but I appreciate when someone has cards that do something when everyone's playing chaos just so that SOMETHING matters. Like it's much more exciting that people were fighting over etali and have a reason to do something rather than *just* "oh I guess I'll swap these creatures that don't matter back and forth." I'm glad there was a light at the end of the tunnel even if that tunnel then collapsed.

I get the guys are just joshing each other for like staples but I do honestly think tutors are antithetical to chaos week. I assume it's just "so I can draw my chaos cards" but that's why you jam it full of draw and cascade and hang on for the ride. Edit: Richard is def playing anti-chaos. Imagine getting rid of thieves' auction but not mana geyser. Chaos! Make Chaos!
