In a quest to collect every model Porsche Speedster produced, Stanley Gold has amassed an impressive collection of Porsches both new and old over a 30-year time span. Join Stanley Gold as he gives you a tour of his garage and the Porsches inside it.
Kicking off his collection is Stanley's newest acquisition, a 1954 Porsche 356 Speedster. This speedster is the 35th speedster ever made by Porsche and has been fully restored by Stanley and his team. At the other end of the spectrum is a 2019 Speedster that really showcases how large the modern speedsters are in comparison to the original. What Stanley likes most about this speedster is that this limited production Porsche came with a manual transmission. One of the most prized in his collection is a 1956 356 Carrera Speedster. These Carrera Speedsters came with a four cam engine that made these Porsches more competitive while racing. Stepping away from the Porsche Speedsters Stanley shows off his 1974 Porsche 911. Coming with a 3.8 Liter Engine, this car has been re-engineered to make for the optimal streetcar. Last but not least is his 1995 Porsche Speedster, this custom-built Speedster is built off a Porsche Cabriolet body and was fitted with all the 1995 Porsche Speedster parts. Ever since I was a kid I dreamed of owning a speedster. The started taking off in value right around the time I started making decent money and now they’re out of reach. This is an amazing collection, I’m jelly.

I have a mini collection (2 911s 🤣), and this is a goal of mine. Just the storage facility and the memorabilia are awesome to see. Peterson can you guys please do an hour on Mr.Gold and all his cool stuff, not just the actual cars? 🙏

Hello Mr. Gold Congratulations on your Porsche Collection from Switzerland! Wish I could visit you and look at those wonderful Porsche‘s. Own a 1955 Continental Coupe myself (on KZfaq with a Video) Found it in Calabasas, shipped it back to Switzerland and restored it. Pure driving, have a lot of fun driving it in the Swiss Mountains cutting edges...... Stay healthy & All the best Dani Graber

Stanley, you forgot to mention that the Convertible D has a few other changes from the Speedster: roll-up windows and coupe seats among others.

There was a third 993 Speedster built by the factory. The build was carried out in 2001, if I'm not mistaken, and was commissioned by Jerry Seinfeld. It was a silver car with a wide body and remains in Seinfeld's collection to this day.

The Jerry Seinfeld 993 Speedster, is a silver wide body Speedster. Since 2012 this car belongs to private Porsche Collection in Switzerland.

Beautiful collection of cars but I wish he'd pronounce the name correctly. Sometimes he did and sometimes he didn't and I couldn't tell if it was just because he said "uh" a lot and just happened to put it in the right place now and again or not.

Speedsters Had side curtains Convertible D Rollup side Windows Single Rear Deck Lids

All of the Speedsters has a single grille if that's what you are referring to. There were also B Roadsters that had the Convertible D windshield and roll up windows. the very last of them were made with the T6 body and had twin grills. I expect those were the rarest street Porsches made. I also noticed that none of his 356s were Supers.
