We had a couple minutes to spare and this elevator has a pretty cool motor so we decided, why not take it for a spin? Well that turned out badly as on the way up, the elevator stopped right after the third floor (or right when the indicator changed to 4) We were stuck for about 45 minutes, maybe more. The fire department ended up having to come. We tried some things before calling for help. I had my elevator keys so I opened up the fire service cabinet. I turned the stop switch to "stop" and back to "run" to see if it would reset the elevator or not. Nothing happened. We tried pulling the doors open, and the classic jumping in the elevator. Still nothing. It was after all that when I started filming. We had to resort to ringing the alarm because we were actually stuck. As we said in the video, we've been stuck before, but we've always managed to get out. Well, not this time! There were lots of people about so the fire department got called pretty quick. The elevator phone was having some issues (probably because it was the first time being used since being installed) This elevator was just modernized last year, and it's already acting up. I got most of this "ordeal" on video, but there were parts I had to cut out to make this video shorter (don't worry, they weren't exciting parts) I hope you enjoy the video!
