I'd restrain the grey tank with bungies or something, even in that tight confine. Great build though despite heater tank cracking!X

I like the removable gray water a lot. We spent the winter in central Oregon and couldn't use our fresh or gray water tanks due to sub-freezing temps. Didn't miss the gray water tank at all.

I hope you have a catch pan, with a drain to the outside, under the water heater. My house once flooded because the builder never ran the drain to the outside. It leaked right into the rafters between the 1st and second floor. And of course we had gone out of state, for a week, so we came home to a swimming pool where our living room used to be..... A oil drin pan will make a nice small catch pan if you eed a small one.

Good luck on the two showers unless you wet down, turn off, soap down, turn on a rinse good. We have 6 gal. electric and propane, and my wife will go to a campground shower if we are in a good campground, otherwise she will take a quicker shower but won't turn the water down or off. I only turn the gas on for the heater for showers only.

We’ve been using this water heater for a little while now and we can get two showers out of it with a little hot water left over! We’ve always opted for ‘navy showers’ in our campers - water off and on just to soap up and rinse! Of course not luxury but it gets the job done and allows us to conserve water. We also turned the temp up on our water heater so we can mix in lots of cold to bring the temp down and it makes the 2.5gal go a lot further!

@@OurWayToRoam An out of stock everywhere sounds like a unadvertised universal recall. You might want to install a small custom drain pan under the heater like they put under the full size ones along with a way to secure it. I had an on demand heater once before and traded the entire camper due to the alternating too hot and too cold showers and difficulty to replace it with anything else.
