We Hiked A Cemetery! (Moriah Cemetery Deadwood SD)

In this episode of Wandering Wagners we explore historic and iconic Deadwood, South Dakota! We were joined by our friends ‪@AlliChuckAdventures‬ Chuck and Alli!
We ventured out into downtown ‪@deadwoodsouthdakota‬ where we did some shopping, and went to a few Saloons including the iconic Saloon Number 10! We decided we had to do a shot (not Mike though) so Lynn had Eagle Rare ‪@LeadARareLife‬ 10 year. It was pretty good but if it was chilled I think I would have liked it more. It's tough work getting this beer drinker to have liquor!
Next we did some dollar slots where Chuck and Alli won $5 each and Lynn and Mike both LOST!
Next was lunch upstairs at the Deadwood Social Club. We took the slot winnings and got more shots at the bar before heading to the Mount Moriah Cemetery where we visited the graves of Wild Bill Hickock, Calamity Jane, and Seth Bullock. It was a hike to get up to Seth Bullock's resting place, but it was so peaceful at the top of that hill!
We returned to the campground where we made dinner and played ‪@cardsagainsthumanity6747‬ wtih Chuck and Alli and the dogs.
Next time we will visit the Adams Museum, do a Brothel Tour and much more!

We haven't been to Deadwood since the one and only time, I decided to ride my Harley with a bike club, to Sturgis back in 2014. I can't say it changed much from your video but I would like to go again but this time with the rig. I enjoy having modern comforts (Bathroom or cover from the elements) for such a long ride, plus the pleasure of a less sore behind!!! 😂🤣😂 Herbie, Mary, & Peanut!!! 💯👍🏽

We avoided this area when we were through here last summer... Way too many people for us😂 Visiting in the off season was perfect! Got to do everything pretty much by ourselves

Deadwood Looks like a great place to go and visit. The hills let you know that we are not getting any younger. I climb alot of hills chasing squirrel. Your legs feel the burn😂

Wild Bill was originally buried in Ingelside Cemetary, 66 Taylor Ave in Deadwood. Was later moved to his present location. At the old spot is a house now. It's said to be haunted.

Quite a hike to get to see Wild Bill & Calamity Jane's grave huh?.. I was there in the summer in the Harley and the walk up was still tough! Y'all be careful!! When you are out there in better weather, do the drive thru Spearfish Canyon in Spearfish, SD>(Not in the RV)...

Wild bill and calamity Janes graves were easy ands pretty much right up from the parking lot. Seth Bullock was a hike up the hill in a foot of snow😂

Eagle Rare is pretty good hooch, and I'm pretty particular about my sippin' whiskey. OH MY GOD - I played Cards Against Humanity last night for the first time, hilarious. Not for kids but fun nonetheless. Keep the good stuff coming guys.

Mike I had to add a 12V 150W car heater to my 12V fridge. To heat up the compressor. If it’s below 30 it won’t kick on.

It's weird because we've never had a problem in over the year we've had it (below freezing and all) luckily it was cold outside/ in the Jeep to get us by a few nights!

I’ve been winter RVing for 8 years, (3 with this 12V fridge), this winter was the first time we had an issue. I put a remote temperature sensor near the compressor to monitor the temps, gives me a heads up when to turn on the heater. I plan on adding a thermostat so I won’t need to worry about it.

Haha we have the exact opposite mindset! We avoided this area last summer. Winter with snow and locals was the best!
